Got the same issue, I tried uninstalling/reinstalling the game, it doesn’t solve the problem
Getting mildly irritated with this… they’re not even investigating it yet, guess it’s on the backburner. Gizzard next time test if a feature even works before creating an event surrounding it, and having people grind it for hours, please and thank you

It’s even more frustrating bc this exact thing has happened before with the gold guns and it took them like two weeks to patch it

Same here, can’t buy golden weapon.
Yes jade weapons works, but they look like crap, I should be able to spend what I earned in what I want.

as it currently stands, the golden weapon purchase bug has been acknowledged and is being investigated by blizzard. there is no official time as to when it will be resolved; as such, we will need to wait until further notice.
most recently, they resolved an issue with the competitive drive signatures not appearing for players who earned them:
Apparently you can’t get a refund for that either, it’s so lame and I’m just disappointed
Word, I wouldn’t be opposed to buying jade, but it looks really bleh on so many characters. I just want a gold gun for Illari 
Only applies to gold for some reason, so when I accidentally got jade it’s my fault and they can’t refund, and I really don’t feel like grinding again right now

I’m also working in a sotfware company, 400 hundreds people. I feel like we are communicating better, and we are bad. This is indeed beyond ridiculous and prove once more Blizzard don’t give a f about his community and that is real sad after so many years.

It is ridiculous how much Blizzard cares about the community, how can it be that this has not been solved already, since October 4 this has not been solved is a real barbarity.

I know that they are aware of the issue but for me that doesn’t explain a thing. This is a problem that they have ALREADY encountered in the past and it occured especially during the event which could lead many people to their first golden weapon. When I failed to buy it directly after I earned my points it was a bit disappointing, but after about 10 days it’s just frustrating and embarassing.

They do not mention investigating at any point, just that they are aware. In fact, it’s a bit sus that they deliberately didn’t use “investigate” for this one
