Wow I had absolutely no idea, is there even still a maximum?
yeah, you cannot recieve more than 6000 competetive points from bonuses only in one season, but you’ll still be able to earn those “+10” for every win, and “+5” for draw…
it’s been a bug for months and still broken as of yesterday evening. pathetic on blizzard’s part.

A while back (around mid-2024) Blizzard made a change that disabled the purchase of all Gold weapons until the end of the 2024 competitive season. After which they will ONLY be able to be bought with Legacy Competitive Points.
im starting to believe they want us to buy jade weapons
they said they fixed it but its still not working?
GENERAL
- Fixed a bug that caused some players to be unable to purchase golden weapons.
- Fixed a bug where the Voice Chat Devices setting was unable to be changed.
- Fived a bug that caused Adrenaline Junkie achievement to sometimes not grant.
I can’t believe that this is still not fixed! I have around 3.5k points and still can’t buy a golden weapon. How is this still not fixed??
Edit: It worked for me after trying few times. THANK GOD!

They made it to where you can still buy your golden weapons with both comp currencies but not at the same time
I tried at first at it didn’t let me, then literally waited a few secs and tried again and it worked.

try multiple times, trust me.
It still doestn´t work for me. even with the seaison 13 update.
i just purchased a golden gun. the first time i attempted it, it did not work. however, once i selected “unlock” a second time, it processed my request successfully. try multiple times.
