Ah, backtracking are we? You said yourself that if a hero is good with teamwork, then they are fine. Genji clearly wasn’t because even with the most teamwork in the game, he’s garbage.
Actually sticking to the topic is not backtracking, it’s paying attention to the context of the discussion. We’re talking about whether or not Genji is trash. A class not being used in OWL does not immediately denote a class as trash.

Sounds like backtracking to me. We were just talking about whether or not teamwork can determine if a hero is good or not and now that I use your own argument against you, you decide to go back to the beginning.

Genji had a lot going for him compared to some characters.
Now he’s got just about everything going for him, though I guess they could also make him immune to/ deflect beams…

No, I was disputing the validity your original claim: Genji is trash in spite of his pickrate because Ana is inflating it.
My claims are: Requiring teamwork to function does not mean a class is trash. Being unable to achieve high usage in the highest skill level of play, with or without teamwork, does not mean a class is trash. These aren’t conflicting arguments.
There is a thing called too powerful, and that’s what genji is now.

Don’t worry i have enough faith in Dev team that they won’t listen to this support mains FOrums.
He hasn’t been trash like Sym or Bastion but he’s been equivalent to Tracer.
Sometimes a good pick sometimes a bad one. He’s always been better than her tbh.
The last 2 years haven’t been kind to either of them. Buffs were needed but not like these…
On console Genji is literal hell to play against.
All i want to see is a cooldown on his double jump. I don’t care about his damage output, as long as he can’t jump over my head 50 times.
just because a hero was bad before does not mean that they, for some reason, deserve to be op for a while

They nerfed Symmetra right after they buffed her. She was always somewhat bad. But people cried when she wasn’t even that good.
For Genji tho, we need a nerf. You can’t make his kit more consistent and weaken his counters.
