Yes, he definitely requires less aim than all of those heroes with the exception of Reaper. Because of the shot delay on Mei’s icicle, and the relative equality up close, he requires less aim than Mei, and including the turret with Torb just makes you appear to be doing what… well…you ARE doing which is trying to frame stuff to make you look the victim.

so ur gonna ignore all the heroes that require less aim than him and just think Mei is harder to aim with cause she has projectiles? And other stuff mentioned That’s literally Genji’s left click as well.

Not really. One is a grammatical mispelling through the native lack of use of the “ö” character in English.
The other is two completely different names. Cole “Consent” Cassidy is not McCree.
McCree from the lore hasn’t ever groped anyone either I believe.
He’s named after someone who did. It’s right to remove honours towards gits like that but its never right to forget the fact that it was accepted in the past.

You actively state here “These heros have much worse issues than genji; but nerf genji first”. Do you not hear how counterproductive that is to the game as a whole ?
Zarya will ALWAYS be a genji counter because she can bubble teammates; she was in OW1 and will always be in OW2.
Sombra can hack every 4 seconds for a hack duration of 8 seconds and a lock-out time of 1.25 seconds. Sombra can currently cancel ults, permanently disable tanks; and matter of fact, she directly and indescreetly hardcounters the foundation of OW as a game - Abilities and hero individuality.
Genji has to press 3 different buttons, gauge distance, and have enough game sense to know when, to hit who.
Cassidy presses E. That’s it.
If you think nerfing the higher efford character will be better for overall balance than I’m sorry but OW aint your game.
Moira heals 24hp/s does 50dmg/s with her suck. That alone breaks genjis tech.
She also has a get-out-of-jail-free card on her shift, in contrast to genjis dash which leaves him vulnerable during.
Moiras orbs I wont even mention. The amount of efford against the reward gained simply speaks against diving moiras for the sake of it wasting your time as genji.
This is already untrue towards Sym, her turrets slow enemies and a single turret halves genjis dash distance as it’s speed ramp-up and ramp-down not distance based.
Echos Beam does 175dmg/s over 2 seconds for <=50% HP heros; that’s a safer, more reliable oneshot ability then genji ever had and ever will have.
Also echo is a flyer; which makes her a raid boss in comparison to genji in most ranks already.
So do all supports and half the other DPS in the game; and most of them need no actual efford to ruin genjis techs.
Ana, Kiriko, Bap press E.
Lucio has the smallest hitbox and the highest mobility in the game.
Zen does twice as much damage as Genji for less mechanical efford (his projectiles fly much faster so the TTK is faster).
“Small hitbox and efford imbalance” isnt an argument if we dont talk about fighting tanks or bastion.
Torb breaks genjis techs by pressing E with temporary health + shield health already breaking his techs.
Torb also has the single highest winrate in low-ranked games because the turret is the missing 6th player to metal-ranks.
Nano blade does 165 dmg every 0.8-ish seconds. Not including Immo-Field, Zarya-Bubble, Ana-Nade or Suzu here; support heal of ANY mainhealer can out-tank that.
Same can be said about genji techs; learn the match-up and basic team coordination and genji falters at any try to make a meaningful play.

All of my arguments talking about other characters here are supposed to be examples of the difference between “This is a little powerful and hard to deal with” against “This directly and permanently, negatively impacts the entire game, with all of the skill-groups included”
I dont hear GM/T500 players complain about genji; only bronze and silvers.
I do hear everyone from bronze to T500 complain about Zarya, Sombra and Sojourn though.

Winston, Reaper, Sojourn, Kiriko, Lucio - Each with ~94% pickrate in OWL. (Official stats)
Zarya, Reaper, Bap, Kiriko, Ana, Sojourn - Each with a pickrate +70% across the board. (Esitmation from personal experience & High-Ranked players oppinions - Possibly biased but you can check any twitch stream currently and probably confirm it.)
Genjis pickrate is around 30-40% in bronze to silver and around 50% around gold. (Rough estimate from personal experience).
(Actual numbers cant be looked up anymore since Overbuff doesnt work anymore. But looking at the leaderboard it roughly adds up)

OWL playoffs were on the newest patch that we have yet to receive with genij nerfs.
Random pickrates either from ow1 which apparently has half the average players of ow2 or “estimated” aka basically made up.

OWL Korea is on the patch that was supposed to drop yesterday. (but will drop tomorrow)
OWL US was on the same patch we play on.
You can see that from Kirikos TP. She has the full I-Frames not the nerfed version.

Massively reduced cc was a genji megabuff. Hence the need for nerfs

I agree the lack of CC hard-enables genji.
But perma-crippling a character based around movement took him permanently out of the game for 6 years.

That was the way overwatch began and the reason Genji sucked during all the cc, cause he wasn’t prepared around all the CC. It’s a given that CC disappeared cause it sucked and now all flankers got megabuffs and so did all squishies in general.
Oh and would you look what team comp they use.
Genji ? Nah, sym and mei. Speaks for itself.
