Have you ever tried to hit a good mercy in valk? Even when i do land a few shots as zen, her regen has her back up in seconds. Granted its a bit easier now her GA is slowed, but still not easy. Also mercy mains shouldjust keep quiet about aim. Dont tell me its easy when you play the easiest character in the game lul
I don’t think rez could ever be “balanced”, but there are still many options to try, like life-link type trade-offs, like say in order to rez someone, you sacrifice 100 or so health, which you’ll ultimately get back in a couple seconds anyway providing you don’t get attacked.

Also this was something pro players spoke about a lot. If pro players are opting to just focus other heroes during valk because mercys too tough to hit, you really think its just about me bein bad at aiming?

It only had to happen once…that was enough…its potential existence was enough…i still have nightmares about it to this day. And who said i dont care about aim? and also, what does not caring about aim even mean? as a zen player i kinda need to care about it to play at all

Jebus I agree with some of your points, Mercy is not on the table and the devs have specifically stated that, Mercy was OP in 2.0 and the devs didn’t like her playstyle in 1.0, people playing Mercy shouldn’t tell others to “click on her head looooool” and be disparaging other people’s aim if they play Mercy because they can’t do exactly that…
However you’re really being unnecessarily antagonistic now. Mercy was nerfed and into a state that many people dislike. I’m not a big Mercy fan but even I think it doesn’t really feel good to be slowed down for the Valk res(I’m of the opinion that’s the only change that’s needed for the foreseeable future). You don’t have to rub salt in the wound, she’s already nerfed and the devs have confirmed she’s not a priority which is good for all the other balance changes we’ve gotten lately.
I think it’s a vast overreaction and people treat Mercy as if she’s somehow different or special from all the other characters in the game, but people have a right to feel that way even if they’re wrong.

I do know with 100% certainty that they won’t revert her, because Jeff flat out said it wasn’t happening, and they weren’t fans of her in that state either (he didn’t say that recently, it was either just before or just after the rework)

I was under the impression that the intention was to shift power from her ult to her standard kit, but clearly as one problem was addressed, more were created.
Shes still consistent healing. I think her ultimate needs a buff, but as long as rez is left alone I dont really care. Make all her beams 80 hps or something (normal is 60), but lets just leave rez alone. Thats all I ask. No more rezzes. Its fine right now.
Yeah, and Jeff said other things wouldn’t happen but did.

The deathmatch example that people like to throw around is just a gamemode that wouldn’t affect anyone who didn’t like it. Reverting Mercy will affect everyone whether they like it or not
They said they wanted to keep DVa focused on DM didn’t want to turn DVa into a flying assassin.
Preeeetty sure they went back on that one.

To be fair, they said Dva wasn’t going to be a bully tank anymore.
That said, a revert is very unlikely. But she might get back some form of multi-rez.

Jeff said the other day who was on the table and Mercy’s name did not come up.
Sombra, Mei, Doomfist, Sym, Hanzo and I believe one other are being currently looked at. If its not on that list, they are on the back burner.
