See, and there is that DPS mentality. If someone gets killed it is a great play, but if a Mercy has a rez that counters it , that is way too frustrating. It was an ultimate ability, not something that was spammed every second. If someone has an ult that can kill everyone, in a team based game, I think it should be totally viable to have a character that can resurrect everyone. I will say that she was able to gain charge on her rez a little too quickly, but you still had to have just the right circumstances to get more than 3 people in the rez and they definitely could have done something to make it a little more difficult to pull off than changing her kit completely.
Ehh, Zen can afford to stay farther back than Mercy, and he doesn’t have a giant fluorescent beam pointing directly to his location. I think that keeping the 1sec regeneration is fine, I don’t think that many people will complain about it
But hey, we’re talking about the community here. They’ll complain about anything.
Here is another suggestion to fix the Mercy-Problem. I want to point out that I AM STILL FOR A TWEAKED REVERT, but another possibility popped in my mind and I wanted to share it:
Get rid of Rezz as a standard-ability entirely. Nobody likes it, it doesn´t feel rewarding for any side. Replace it with some other movement-ability
Because Mass-Rezz is atm “out of question”, here is my suggestion of an engaging valk-mode:
If you use your ult, you don´t get a “time limit” like now, but a “resource-meter” in form of “valkyre-energy”. It looks basically like now and if you execute it like now the energy still would last roughly the 15 seconds. In this form, “E” is replaced with rezz, works “almost instant”, like 0,3 seconds, so that she couldn´t simply dive in and good players could still exploit “corpse guarding”. But a rezz takes a decent amount of “valk energy”, like 3 seconds or something. the exact amount would have to be tweaked, but it should be enough to rezz up to 3 players, keep in mind that you are in a very thight time limit to do so, so it is only possible if these 3 players are not too far from each other. This would prevend this “free rezzez” which were there before, because “far away corpses” take away too much precious energy. And after that valk would be over. No unkillable moth or something, because you traded it for rezzes.
Last but not least, this “full potential of her valk-suit” does not just give her the option to chain-heal or chain-boost, but do BOTH by klicking both mouse-keys. But that of course drains double of the energy.

I’m okay with the idea overall, except for the “replace current E with a movement ability”. Mercy doesn’t need more mobility; she needs more mid-fight impact.
The problem is people say mercy is balanced yeah of paper she is but gameplay she’s not she’s clunky and has no flow to it rez now with these sombra changes might as well be removed. Rez as an ability should put it back into the ultimate but it’s fair and balanced rather than just getting it every 30 seconds, but knowing blizzard we are going to go through this same song and dance to where she’ll be really low for pick rates then all of a sudden she needs to be relevant again and then another rework just be prepared for mercy 5.0 before they get anything right
And people’s logic of nerfing a character (mercy) to the ground calling it balanced just so other heroes can be viable again is just wrong blizzard really needs to take another look at her again and listen to the community instead of pros cause they are literally the .01 of the OW community and should have a say so
There is still the fact that your abilities shouldn’t be a suicide button unles your team makes sure you survive.
I am used to people ditching on me in most games. I am used to them tunnel visioning or straight up do not care. Sometimes, i get an awesomme bubble or shield or something but in most games - this doesn’t happen.
I want to have control over my own character. There is nothing more frustrating than pressing a button and wishing some people you don’t know will not let you die.
Well, he would like to put it to rest. You could take that apart to almost everything. The point is that they didn’t said that it is absolutly no option to go back to Mass Res.
Also, this only refers to a straight revert. Not to a rework back to Mass res with changes.

Nerfs - needed because the fail rework has been. Making not must-pick - you can make it on milion different styles but just beating someone blindly with a nerf bad isn’t really something worth this big of a company. A little thought into it.
This is something i still don’t understand from you. Why do you think that a utility ability would be better for Mercy? A healing ability is an absolute No go, so it only could be a movement, off or utility one. I think a utility ability would make her only to strong again (Res as an example… a bad one because it should be an Ult, but as an ability it’s for utility). It is only balanced with a lot of restrictions.
Her mid fight strength is good enough with dmgb and her healing in my opinion, but to make her in that better it would have to be an off ability, which doesn’t really fit her.
