Feedback of Experimental Mode (12/05/2020)
It’s the second time I’m satisfied with the change in the Experimental Mode. The change from 29th April was great and the current test are good in my opinion.
I think it will increase the pace of the teamfight. Zenyatta will be more valuable.
I’m ok with the change for Bastion and Junkrat.
But, I would like more change for Moira. Especially about Right and Left Click abilities.
About Moira
I think that Biotic Grasp is too strong : 1. Healing :
This healing ability is easy to provide to allies and is one of the strongest Heal in the game.
The healing tank is not a problem for Moira because of the tapping technique which help you to refill it in 5 seconds. And the range problem is solved with Biotic Orb.
Reducing healing or patching the tapping would help other Healers to be less attractive. 2. Damage :
This ability remains me a lot the old Symmetra’s Beam. Easy to use, frustrating to counter but not really strong. I think that a Rework of it would be appreciated.
Maybe try :
It’s like the ptr, No one uses it, Developers don’t listen to feed back. In the end you waste time on things that have a 50/50 chance of making in game.
This nerf is ridiculous. They already nerfed her self heal before, now they’ve reduced the touch range, speed up the ball both of which reduce the chance of the ball doing anything. Lastly, they reduced the balls’ time to exist by 30 flipping percent! and left the cool down alone! So now it lives 30% less but still takes just as much time before you can use it again. While I can get behind making it so more accuracy is required (i.e. the first two nerfs) l fail to see how making it so it is less effective period making the character any more “balanced” or “requiring more skill”
Making Moira harder to play must come with Compensation. The nerf on the orbs is dramatic, with the works part making them spend less time over the intended target. IF you are going to make a move in this direction, please up the tick rate to compensate.
