played 15 matches tonight… all but 1 had at least 1 cheater in it… this is pathetic, get a grip blizzard
to all the cheat deniers, don’t ask for replay codes, you’re not getting them, its against the ToS

also the event: get notice that cheaters were banned. report and be through, report the player, and report the replay codes with detailed info in the textboxes so busy mods can cut right to the chase

It just doesnt fly dude, OW is not a game with that insane amount of cheaters. Not under any standard so no, quit deflecting blame and claiming your losses are because of Cheaters.
Unless you can provide proof, thats what 99% of this forum will believe.

I get called a cheater in arcade several times daily… people severely overestimate the prevalence of cheaters.

In all honesty, I don’t think this has ever happened.
They don’t watch videos and then decide if the guy cheated.
At best, these “cheat” reports trigger a more detailed client-side analysis.
I’ve seen two definite cheaters in my four and a half years of playing, you seeing at least fourteen in a day is absurdly fabricated.

they are out there. i trust in the report system, it only took a few days to ban someone. sure thats still a lot of ruined games, but its fast compared to not happening at all or waiting for batch bans
next time you hear someone on your team talking sh!t about medals/rank shaming/being a toxic POS, have a look at them in the replay, they might just be 100% full blown ragehacking

He does this on EU forums too and he never posts replay codes which we are allowed to do there as long as we don’t mention names. He knows he can’t back it up with facts that’s why he doesn’t post replay codes. This was only a couple of weeks ago:
I suspect him to be an alt account of this guy because he makes the exact same type of threads where he always states the game is flooded with cheaters. Same kind of writing and also never gets above endorsement level 1.

Who knows what the matchmaker really does, maybe there is a probability score for potential cheaters, assuring that they play more often within their own group than with clean players.
Maybe TurgidMember cheated a few years ago, or maybe he installed a software on his computer that many cheaters have also installed.
Someone accused me of cheating as Torb. They were playing hog.
Maybe the amount of baddies exploded when the event started…?

Thats not a thing.
Thats a term people that deflect blame made up when they get called out.
If you are not going to provide replay codes then this thread means nothing, just another proof there are more people deflecting blame and accusing others of cheating than actual cheaters.
Apparently someone said on the forums that there’s a new cheating system where games can’t register if you are using a third-party software. The software also benefits making your cheaters gameplays more natural and less snappy. It’s costs $200 per month subscription…
And since May 2021 of this game, there has been over tens of thousands accounts banned due to cheating.

It finally happened with me. I got called a cheater a few days ago.
Their junkrat wanted to know how I “hit him through a wall”
I told him it was an orb. He said, “No, it wasn’t. I’m saving the replay”
okay lol go ahead and let me know what you found out.

I myself watched the replay and the purple orb killed him right before he got to the health pack that was under the bridge on point B Anubis. Poor guy. It didn’t matter. Our Sym who was under there would’ve killed him anyway.
Do cheaters exist? Absolutely. Are they in every single game? Absolutely not.
If you suspect somebody as cheating right click on their name and report 'em for Cheating and let Blizzard sort it out.
I have reported 2 different Widowmakers and have gotten the green notice upon logging in for both of them.
One of 'em said “just my lucky day”
