The famous “Shadow ban” in COD when people massively report someone. I’ve saw an streamer massive reporting one guy just because he “got” her kill and looted the enemy (basically he killed the guy before her). there she started to mass report him. Also she even called him every bad name possible.
When will you fix the reward system?
The fact that unlocking most of the legacy cosmetics would take 50+ years is insanity.
You are killing any casual feel the game had and wonder why people would rather pay $50 to get OW1 back.
How can you not afford to give out 1 single measly coin on match finish? Even with me playing since launch I would’ve been maybe able to get 1 shop skin with it in 3 years of grinding. Are you seriously telling me that your game’s financial success hinges on each player buying 1 skin in 3 year period? Because if yes I have news for you: very many people have stopped buying a skins at all, simply out of spite of how unrewarding the game is.

Challenges > Lifetime > Player Title > General
You should be able to see it there whether it’s completed or not.

Unless Blizzard HARDWARE BANS the offenders, it literally means NOTHING.
You lose.
They will make a new account and be in game, right now, all 500k “cheaters” are already back in game, right now, and there is NOTHING Blizzard will do about it because if just ONE of those cheaters buys a skin, it’s profit.
This is meaningless fluff.

Thank you to the devs for being amazing! However, the ease to make a new account and just keep ximming is bad. I already see posts around in different forums where they’re just making a new account, no phone number needed. The xim problem and cheating problem and smurfing problem will still be problems so long as making an account to play in comp is that easy. As always. thanks for what you do, I hate ximmers and cheaters- I wish there was more heavy handed consequences and preventative measures.
Lol so this means the daily active users are roughly 100k players and 95k of them turned into 500k cheaters. Why does every game company allow cheaters to play their games on purpose? When do we hold these people accountable and make it illegal?

yup free to play was a bad move, all free to play games that are pc/crossplay with pc are full of cheaters. sad, as if the matchmaking wasnt bad enough to deal with. that said i hate cheaters in any game, they can waste their time making new accts. effing losers.
I think they should show as PC in this case (are we sure they don’t already? I don’t know an effected ximmer) or as you say, have a mnk icon.
If we are now doing requests in the thread I would also like updates to account actions having a decay on the strikes/punishments over time and games played, like the majority of similar systems. For example communication warnings and actions on Xbox have an 8 strike rule and each strike is conditionally removed after a year. Also let people use the mature chat feature as intended (undirected/non-toxic but adult language) without punishment or not using automatically recorded/dictated private voice group chat as evidence of toxic comms in false reports made by people only seeing match or team text chat.
Without updates and assurances like these people will stop using chat altogether to avoid permanently losing valuable main accounts for fairly minor infractions or misunderstandings spread out over years and/or thousands of matches or even just using the mature chat “entrapment” feature as intended.
