I kinda miss being able to play her even casually.
I struggle to get people to actually try in quickplay when I pick her now.
I would like alternative buffs than just pouring into DM.
People should just get over she’s not going to be in her glory days of… s2 or 3 when she was just insanity, or whatever season when it became exhausting and boring that D.va was just a DM bot.
So like… convert more hp to armor hp?
Reduce her slowdown when using primary fire?
Allow rockets to lock on!? Nevermind that idea, but it’d be amusing.
That was not my assumption. I am just saying they ain’t loyal. I have no issue with it. I am thinking about moving on from my hero myself. It is not fun getting trashed every game.
I was under the impression that people were complaining about DM in general. Not necessarily uptime or range.
Either way, that’s beside the point. The range nerfed affected her a lot, which means it was a big factor. It really doesn’t matter if people were complaining about it or not.
Also, I didn’t say the range had to be nerfed, or that I agreed with it.
maybe, i still think those changes are resonable. (maybe not all of them, for example they can keep the range nerf if they change the rest)
but you gotta admit that dva needs some serious tweaking to make it back to the viable tank roster.
do you have other ideas on how to fix dva then me?
I only want d’va meta again so I can melt so many more mechs as zarya.

I’d rather get other characters nerfed and D.Va adjusted and tweaked. I don’t want a big fat buff for her so she becomes another OP annoying character that everyone ends up complaining about again.

i’m ambivalent to d.va changes. I’m more of a shield tank kinda player.
but i wouldn’t mind if the devs gave her some buffs.
Be careful what you wish for. D.Va and Zarya compete for the same slot in the team. If one becomes meta then the other will naturally fall.
this game was better when sigma wasnt released
He’s like the launch Brig of tanks. Added more awful CC that nobody asked for and introduced another terrible meta.

i wonder if all games are like this?
or is their game design just one of the most problematic ones in the industry?
its weird but, a lot of times it feels like they push specific stuff they themselves only enjoy,and the rest of the stuff they added just to cater more people, is often handled poorly. or just ignored/straight up gutted if it becomes too relevant.
if they like it on the other hand, it will stay in the game for way too long (moth meta, old brig, current hanzo)

Unless they gut zaryas damage more than they did in the recent patch I would never pick d’va over her.
She’s so much more rewarding to play.
Role queue is the enemy of versatility.
Jack-of-all-trades heroes were dead the second they decided to put it into effect.
D.Va is one such hero.
She does a lot of “stuff” but she does nothing, and I mean NOTHING, well, let alone doing it better than someone else. On top of that, they saddled her with a bunch of extra weaknesses that originally offset strengths she has not had in years.
But she remained popular only because she is a cute girl in a walking robot.
Can’t think of a single thing they haven’t dumpstered about this character.

Rockets: nerfed
Boop resistance: nerfed
Boop damage: nerfed
DM: meganerfed
Armor: nerfed

Honestly, I don’t know how to fix dive.
They introduced too much CC that punches through DM out of unjustified fear of DM.
Think about it: how many post launch heroes have ults that can be eaten by DM? Ashe and sort of Baptiste. How many can be fully eaten by DM? 0. They’re terrified of DM.
