1.5sec of hard Stun, does quite a lot to Tanks.
If Sleep was just a Sleep, and not a Stun+Sleep, then sure.
If you’ve been keeping up with what I’ve been saying about ana and my opinions on her in OW2, you’d know where I stand. And it’s not where you think it is. I’m mostly talking about how people are combining ana’s oppressivess in OW2 and transferring it over to OW1 as if they’re the same thing. Even sombra’s power levels are completely different in the two games, same with genji and pretty much every other hero. These are two different games.
Also, while I think ana’s sleep dart and/or anti-heal might have genuinely reached the “oppressive” threshold in OW2, it’s hard to tell for sure unless you play OW2 yourself. At this point it’s all speculation as to how oppressive certain heroes and abilities can be. For example, I didn’t know soldier: 76 was that OP in OW2 to the point where he needed massive nerfs.
And like I’ve said earlier, I don’t think ana has reached this “oppressive” threshold in OW1 to the point where she needs nerfs since she was always competing with bap in pick rates in GM. Ana, like any other CC based hero was just “annoying” in OW1. But in OW2, from what I’m seeing so far, her abilities doesn’t look that healthy. But again, I need to play the game first before I can come to a proper conclusion.
Keeping a tank out of the fight for 5.5 seconds is huge in itself. Honestly bigger than Anti-nade, which would only force you to retreat/defense up for 3 seconds.
The 1.5 second stun is also huge, especially on tanks like Doom/Ball/D.va that are really reliant on moving around to not die. Sleep + focus fire is super deadly.
It’s kind of a catch-22, because Anti is deadliest on tanks without good mobility since they tend to be more reliant on their healing supply and can’t duck out to wait it out as easily.
But sleep is deadliest on tanks with mobility, because their big hitboxes still make it fairly easy to land, and it stops mobility in its tracks and gives the team a garunteed 1.5 seconds focus fire, which is actually a pretty big deal.
quite a lot relative to what though? When I just get slept as tank it’s a minor inconvenience. Getting hit by nade after is really bad. But on dps when I just get slept I almost always die. Rarely happens with tank.
Either way, it gives Ana’s team time to get rid of squishies, while tank is unable to do anything about it.

but any dmg wakes you up. And tanks have the hp to survive that initial burst.
So, just kill squishies first. Tank would have hard time surviving burst from whole enemy team, when their own is dead.
Basically, sleep tank - kill squishies - put tank down with focus fire of your whole team.

It’s 1.5sec where you can get shot at the entire time, and you do not regain control of your character until 1.5sec later.
Not if it makes less supports queue. Tanks queuing isnt a problem in ow2 so far
If she is doing that, she is ultra vulnerable to attacks, specially when scoped.
I dont think she imbalances that compared to a Bap full focused on blasting a Tank’s face (he is basically a burst S76) or a Zen with Discord.
Discord is BY FAR, the most impactful, easy to use skill on a Support and it has no CD. Now that he can kick back people for 45, good luck to Ana complainers.

Key words “so far”. Unless Ana is dealt with, we are risking to have combined support and tank crisis, caused both by low number of support players and those players exclusively picking Ana, causing tanks to change roles.
Shatter also doesn’t have a 12 to 15sec cooldown
yeah I know there’s that animation lock but it still doesn’t kill tanks nearly as much as it will kill a squishy. All you do nerfing sleep is remove a minor inconvenience for tanks at the cost of making her free kills for flankers. Thus exploding queue times yet again.
Depending you can fet shatter faster then that.
I’m actually surprise they didn’t make discord leaves target if it’s block behind an enemy shield, and not just natural terrains. This is really where the stem of the problem is, discord does not leave tank even with the shield up to block LoS from projectiles.

Its not like all of them are worthless or unplayable against ana. She is only really bad against the ones with no shield
