The button for account merge doesnt do anything for me. (on pc) I tried right now but if i press it nothing happens.

This is whatās killing me. My PlayStation account has been linked to BNet account since OW launched.
I only play OW on PlayStation, and I was never able to merge my accounts, does this mean Iāll have nothing I obtained in OW1 in OW2 or will it transfer automatically?
Under connections in my BNet account, it lists my PlayStation already. Iāve gotten into OW2 a few times for a few minutes, but āAccount Mergeā isnāt currently working, but why would I need to merge if I only play on one platform?

Am I the only one different ? I played OW1 on my PS4 and my battlenet account is always linked but I didnāt do any merge thing until today I just download and run OW2 on my ps5, it turns out my cosmetics are just all there automatically, with the gameplay record being PC statistics. No merge button in game whatsoever. Now Iām trying to login on PC and queuing 50000 atm

Same I have so much time and money invested to OW1 if I canāt merge my accounts now and get all my items Iām just never playing again

i will not play overwatch 2 if im unable to merge but how its looking now i wont be able to and there is no way to contact any support to gain help

i grinded tf out of the game on xbox, but have like 4 hrs on PC really hopin this merge queue it says im in is legit and that i dont lose my xbox stuff

I myself used to play OW1 on ps4 alot and at some point ages ago merged it. I have never owned or played the game on another platform. Log into overwatch 2 and all my stuff is gone and im basically a new player, however there is an account merge button my screen but it does nothing, I assume things are just broken at the moment? Cause if not ive lost all my OW1 stuff.

I guess we are all doomedā¦ we just lost hundreds of hours and progress because for one reason reason or another we couldnāt āmerge accountsā(even though i only ever had 1) i just opened OW 2 and, Iām basically a new player now no skins, no heros, no sprays, no voice lines, no emotes, no victory poses, no highlight intros, no free Kiriko and no motives no keep playing this game no more. Damn

I really hope so, Iāve been playing since the game released and all of my stuff is missing. Iām on ps5 and it didnāt give me the option to merge when I loaded up the game. It just threw me into tutorial. I didnāt merge during ow 1 but I did make a battlenet with my ps account and I thought that would work. It didnāt. Itās so disappointing seeing years of progress, stats and limited edition skins and cosmetics just disappear. I really hope thereās a fix for this.

Man I canāt even play this game right now because Iām so frustrated that I canāt merge my account and I didnāt have time these past few months and Ive been waiting for this day and now Iām just sitting here looking at my account with none of my old stuff from OW1 -_- please we got to make this more trending because so much of us have put some much hours into this game that we canāt just lose all of our stuff we earned just because we couldnāt have time to merge our account before the launch :((( please help us OGs out!!!

If anyone is able to successfully merge or recover their stuff please update us and lets just hope for the best that a fix is on the way

so far no response from Blizzard so i donāt think weāll hear anything soon. they just say āits a bugā but i donāt think that applies to our situation. Plus they have bigger problems right now like the servers being absolutely overloaded and kicking people mid game so they have to go back into the queue, iāve been kicked from more games than i have completed.

I have the same Issue, I havent played ow 1 for a while. I Just downloaded the new ow2 I have my ow1 linked with battle.net, on the same ps4 . Butt when I opend ow2 Nothing. Alll my stuff gone and the account merge button doesnt open, help?!?!?!?

What is happening when you press āAccount Mergeā? Have you opened a support ticket?
So far i managed to get in and merge the accounts but just havenāt been able to play
- i had my account already linked before hand to the same battle net account
- i didnāt merge on august when cross progression was announced so i was worried about it now but it seems to be okay.
- its possible that its all the traffic packages on the internet messing up currently and bugs and issues that will be resolved soon hopefully. It is the first day to so traffic is high
There was an option to confirm the merge in OW1. So, it may have prompted you a few months ago, and you just didnāt remember doing it? It took like 2s to do, so it would be easy to forget.
Thatās the exact reason why I never bothered to click on the āmerge accountā button in OW1. I figured since I only played on Xbox, then what would I need to merge with? Iāll be beyond upset if I wasted the last 5 years collecting everything only for it to be deleted. If there truly was a time limit to merge, thatās something they should have been announcing frequently leading up to this launch.

yeah and they should have been putting that info everywhere, like in the commercials and ads. āIf you already have Overwatch 1 please make sure you merge your accounts before launch to keep all the things you haveā would have been all that was needed in the ads and commercials and stuff.

I have the same problem as everyone here, except I logged into OW1 during the week and initiated the merge, but still lost my progression from my xbox account i was playing on since 2016, and now i only see my pc account which i used for 2 weeksā¦
I cant even see āmerge queueā. Where can you see that?
Now installing the game on my pc, cause i saw someone had to confirm the merge there as well? What kinda bs this system is?..
