I just installed todays update from nvidia on my 1080ti and Blue screened still. I have done all the updates and deleted rtx voice no hope left after 4 comp game dc’s
Wow that is actually terrible. Okay guess we will be waiting for a fix then because I’m not even going to be uninstalling Nvidia software, even if I knew that 100% fixed it, just going to wait. Not really worth it.
Thank you for finding that out!
Also this is a bit unrelated but how does OW2 run on a 1080Ti? You know, when the game isn’t broken. Still a beast of a card today, I’m sure it runs great
I also came here to post about the issue, randomly started crashing today. crashed 3 times then finally made a dump its 100% overwatch 2 and nvidia broadcast bumping heads no idea why but its hella lame. broadcast is a must have for filtering out background noise in VC with people.
Nope.
Still crash crash crach.
Crashes only in Blizzard games. Diablo III crashes, as well.
Doesn’t happen in other developers’ game.
So perhaps it has something to do with the Anti-Cheat that is embedded in their games or something. Maybe it’s being triggered by Nvidia’s software?
That being said, I was crashing when I had an RX 5700XT in this machine as well. I’ve only had the 3070 Ti in my desktop for about a week, so I don’t think it’s limited to Nvidia’s software…
I did get a complete reboot while my system was sitting idle with the Battle.net app running, so I’m wondering if the reboot issues may be triggered by that software - for people who leave it running in the background after starting the OW client.
I had the same problem with Lost Ark prior to the OW2 launch. I did a clean installation deleted lost ark and started playing overwtach 2 and the i got the same retarded bsod but with critical process died instead and a day after with watchdog violation. i will also try removing dor now nvidia broadcast to test it.
I’m sorry but this is not the solution. I use Nvidia Broadcast and I’ll not uninstall just to play this game. The developer should address this issue and fix it.
The fix would come from nVidia. GPU driver software is developed to support the games, not the other way around. I’d check their forum for updates.
My new pc (only a few months old) has BSOD 4 times now. The first two times was without nvidia broadcast installed. I downloaded it to use with Squad.
I fixed my crashes. It was Nvidia stuff (not Broadcast - some Display/GPU settings).
Known problem with Nvidia GPUs, actually, since at least a year or so ago.
How did u fix it tho?
disabling any NVIDIA RTX Voice apps worked for me
sadly I don’t have any of the Nvidia RTX voice app and broadcast app
Does anyone have a solution to this? I get this sometimes, I don’t have Nvidia Broadcast so that is not a solution. I’ve only been recently getting this in Overwatch 2. I have Windows 11 22H2, GTX 1660 Super, i5 10400, and 16 GB of ram. Everything is up to date so I don’t really know what the problem is…
IT’s overwatch 2. The game is buggy and they’re trying to find reasons that it’s not their fault. Uninstall that, update this, not us, not us.
Sombra highlight video doesn’t show her at all.
If you mess with the render scale, it offsets the avatar at the bottom left.
Genji’s shooting animation with left click is clunky.
Tracer’s recall animation is ALSO clunky.
Recent players and the avoided team mates is overlapped by the recent players.
Bastion
Torb
This has nothing to do with BSOD while running NV Broadcast and OW2 at the same time
This is UI/UX and animations
The problems and solutions are completely different
Go do some hate thread or smth, we are trying to talk real solutions here
Updates for nvidia driver are seperate for broadcast & regular gpu driver
So are they going to fix the problem facing the issue with Nvidia Broadcast if it’s really the problem? I saw on another post about disabling Nvidia Shadowplay Overlay, I tried that myself and played for couple days and I didn’t get any Blue Screen, so I think the overlay thing was also a cause for the blue screen.
Bumping this. Have this issue. Getting BSOD almost every 3 games with RTX voice, when I close RTX voice it stops the crashes. Only happens in OW2, not an issue with RTX voice but with Overwatch. 3060TI
This is not a GPU driver issue. RTX Voice is not a GPU software, it is a program created by nvidia for noise filtering on microphones. You guys need to fix this because it ONLY happens with overwatch, and if it is an issue with only your game, clearly it isn’t Nvidia’s issue.
