I’m happy for the OWL folks, but we only have seven supports. We can’t really afford any of them to be Sombra’d and only work well for a vast minority of players.

Yup. And yet whenever I tank and suggest “I think a Brig would help a lot against back line aggression”, I more often than not get “Brig!? No man. Wont be enough heals. Sorry she’s trash.” In my opinion an alive healer that can defend themselves against attacks is better than a dead one that complains they aren’t getting enough help when they can’t land any shots to defend themselves anyway.
Lots of supports just rage at their other teammates who they can’t change instead of taking matters into their own hands with someone like Brig. I feel like that was the reason she was created as a hero.

No… you just quoted me incorrectly what I don’t appreciate at all.
We all should not want that OWL affects balance changes at all for live patches. Let them play on a other patch if changes are needed but Pro play should NOT affect live balance changes, only ladder experience and data should affect it.
No, you’re trying to speak for everyone. You may speak for yourself and others who don’t like OWL, but you don’t have the right to say “we”, like people who like OWL just don’t exist.

This is why I feel they should rework her…lower ranks can’t seem to get much value or don’t like playing her. High ranks get tons of value, don’t particularly like playing her or playing against her.
Isn’t it just better in the long run for her to be looked at?

It’d odd how if people mention how low pick sombra/sym are everyone agrees but it doesn’t work for the high picked heroes, it’s so obvious people just want their heroes to be better no matter what

Yeah because the vast majority of the playerbase, no matter their rank, doesn’t care about game balance as a whole. They only care if their favourite hero is good and if their most hated hero is bad.

OWL is way different to ladder
for example, in gm this week she is around the bottom half

It absolutely is. When genjis pickrate becomes low on ladder and in OWL it doesn’t matter. When brigs pickrate becomes low on ladder it absolutely matters but it doesn’t matter in OWL.
When zarya or rein are picked in GM everyone says it matters. When orisa is the best tank by far everyone continues to call her meh (yes this was a thing btw).

‘We’ is the correct term in this situation. I also could say ‘A lot of people in the community’ but ‘We’ is shorter and elaborates the same meaning in the context. Obviously a sinhle individual can’t speak for EVERYONE in the community. ‘We’ is the correct term if it’s more than a ‘few’ people in a community.
And quote ppl incorrectly is against the law btw. in real life and most likely against the rules in this forum too.
From your profile it looks like you mainly play quick play yes? For that mode balance doesn’t matter either way. You can play the game however you want in it. I personally want the heroes to be as balanced as they can be. Which means at different ranks and at different levels heroes play differently. I think there is beauty in that honestly. It’s a measure of good design that with hard work a hero can truly pay off at the highest levels.

Exactly, she’s still one of the best supports outside of rush comps and anyone who points out that she has bad stats in low ranks don’t realise that it’s because anyone who can play Brig well won’t be in low ranks for long.

Means nothing and is still the least picked support and one of the least picked heroes period for 99% of the playerbase. She’s still garbage, unfun to play, and needs help (despite what salty players might say about her).
She has lower damager than Lucio, lowest healing besides Zen, high deaths per 10, and mediocre stats for everything else.
If 80% of the playerbase is “playing her wrong”, then there’s something wrong with her design, not her players.
