The hero that was completely trash, bottom of the barrel f tier like a month ago is suddenly OP again because the meta favors their burst heal now, even though it’s also been nerfed as a consequence of the meta favoring that burst heal.

To be real, it’s only equally as absurd as Gm players telling other people to play differently in different ranks. If it were possible for them to do so, or if it worked in that elo…then they wouldn’t be in that elo.
Every rank has subtle differences in how it plays out, and besides the fact that I’ve seen some disastrous takes from GM players in the past, the fact is that you need to learn how the elo plays and ease the players into a winning strategy rather than presuming that whatever thing you do in top 500 will work. Tip: it won’t. Because nobody is playing that way to begin with, so you can’t use a strategy meant to counter behaviors that aren’t happening to begin with.
And isn’t it crazy that she’s still OP?
There have been no buffs to brigitte recently. Only nerfs. She was considered to be trash and a sleeper pick until GMs caught on she was good again. Only nerfs but she is considered OP now? Because people know how to play her despite the constant nerfing? Get out of here. And Genji is apparently only playable after getting 4 buffs. You’re just biased. That’s all there is to it. Brig isn’t OP. Brig is balanced.

I am pretty sure a big tank patch would push her out of the meta tho.
If the meta wpuld be more dive oriented or quick brawl with Lucio, her pickrate will naturally drop.
She is just favored by the meta at this point, because Lucio is simply not needed in this cancer meta.

She’s only played so much because of lack of options. Zen is non existent.

Has nothing to do with what I play, it’s the fact that the whole team needs a brig to win if the enemy has one.

And then the rest talk about lower ranks or Ana, when Ana isnt comparable to Brig as she is a main healer and low ranks dont matter.
You would have a point if we were talking about a hero like Tracer or Widowmaker, but we’re talking about Brigitte. Any player at any rank can get incredible value out of her by just doing a few basic things. Use whip shot off of cooldown to proc inspire. Use pack when teammates start taking damage, if possible keep one in case your support partner is in trouble. Bash targets who are in range and pose a threat to you or your team. Use your ultimate to win the fight. Again, this is simple enough that any player at any rank can do it and find success. Because Brig is guaranteed value, she is the winning strategy that you were talking about.
