I honestly think Mercy is fine as it was : Super Jump Tech allowed, but you have to do it properly (like Crouch+SHIFT , then release + Space).
The whole shooting to the ground and see an explosion of dust that covers things should go too, or at least really go wild with the opacity so we can see through.

Hoping we see a lot more changes than just mercy, Moira, and sym. There’s quite a few characters that need either nerfs or buffs.

Blizzard does not need to wait for console verification if they’re doing a server side balance patch. The certification stuff is for adding new DLC or fixing technical aspects of the beta.
Please include sojourn nerfs in the next patch

This 100%
I enjoyed paying against her during early beta 1 but she’s insufferably overtuned in this beta.

I assume you will also be addressing (and buffing) Symmetra in that patch? Right??

Yeah, now that the beta for PlayStation users in europe is actually playable, I’m genuinely enjoying OW2.
BUT… Please, for the love of god, do something about symmetra! She’s absolutely terrible right now.

Finally… time to grab both ankles.
I’m glad this is being changed. This particular idea and implementation were poorly received for good reason. As a general principle - Mercy shouldn’t be super jumping after every use of GA, and hence the game shouldn’t have a feature that makes her super jump after every use of GA. What’s more, it made a lot of her other movement tech clunky (or impossible).
The team is putting time and effort into finding solutions for Mercy’s super jump. This one was a bit half baked, but the deeper underlying issue is that Mercy’s super jump isn’t even the problem that needs to be solved. Mercy doesn’t need to be mechanically easier. She needs more work in modernizing her kit for the 5v5 environment.
It’s fine to work on standardizing some of her tech and making it more accessible, but this can’t be the top priority when working on her. She needs changes elsewhere in her kit. It’s jarring to hear the devs talk about giving Moira more play making potential while also talking about making Mercy easier to play. It’s frustrating seeing that one of the principles of Overwatch 2 is that individual play matter more, and then seeing essentially no changes to Mercy’s kit.

You shouldn’t even touch the guardian angel in first place. The ability wasn’t ever broken and it doesn’t need any changes. If you desperately want to change something about mercy look at rez.

Ooh, I wasn’t sure if we’d see those yet.
Been enjoying the beta a lot so far, but I’m excited to see more improvements for support players.
Honestly, she is so nerfed. She was already struggling in overwatch live version. in ow2 she is just destroyed as hero.

That is not what that said. It means it was a nerf that was reverted but reverting it came late enough that it wasn’t in the patch notes. So it was implemented correctly but documented poorly.
don’t you guys have wallets?

Bring Mercy back from ow1…now she’s very clumsy. And if there are people who like Mercy from ow2, there should be an option to switch from one Mercy to another. We miss the old super jump…

OK so I hhave played around 10 games so far and I love the improvements in game quality, However I think I know a way to improve if its not already in the making by the devs.
So ok first observation love the scoreboard lets everyone know you are not afk and what you are doing, However I think more could be added such as how many enemies spotted how many orders placed.
Again my second observation is again in regards to the command wheel and I am hoping this will be a thing ingame that enemies spotted and killed gives extra ingame rep/XP gain. Ive played over 10k hours in Overwatch and I played around 17k hours on Battlefield 3 and 4 so I love the kinda wheel command system now especially as I put spot/command wheel on my upperthumb mouse button and melee on my lower and just melee/spot enemies by pressing both buttons at once or giving commands if i have time. Needs if its not already to be expanded on.
Love Riz.

I think there’s a lot of input lag on OW 2 compared to OW 1. Just aiming in the practice range, OW 1 feels a lot snappier and easier compared to OW 2. I know I’m not the only one that’s experienced this. Also, I realize that new UI elements and lighting changes are being encouraged as to differentiate the game from the original, but a lot of the decisions, at least to me, look a lot worse. Many maps have lost their vibrant colors, others are just orange, and new HUD changes like moving Zenyatta’s orb targets to the bottom are detrimental rather than helpful. Will the team be adding ways to customize the in-game HUD and allowing players to play on maps at the original time of day they were designed for? If not, it’s sad knowing that these things will be basically erased come October.
