Anyone else think hero bans is a terrible idea?

In a game where every player is promised that they can select any hero thy wish to play, players were denied access to said heros

This happens every game if someone chooses a hero first.

Hopefully, this second coming of hero bans will be removed from the game just as quickly as the first round was
