Oh yay thank you! Its good to know that you guys have acknowledged the recent new reports about this, honestly just having clear communication and being in the loop knowing you’re on it helps heaps!

My region in the Battle Net Client says Ameicas, but pretty sure id be on the OCE servers because I’m connecting from Australia

EDIT: for clarity for others reading this, Nicole doesn’t work for Blizz but she’s helping collate posts and get all the infos to them :smiley:

Americas is the main region, but OCE is a sub category within it to make people from Australia and New Zealand (maybe more) connect with less than 200ping

I don’t work at Blizzard, I’m just gathering data to help speed the proceed along for troubleshooting. Especially if it’s affecting an entire region.

Ermm, yep same issue here. It takes me to the main menu and after that I can’t seem to join a lobby or even the training map. I play on Americas PSE1. Sorta had a mini panic attack because I thought someone else was logging into my account cause I kept getting logged out. Glad to see I’m not the only one with the problem.

edit: i can’t load up a custom game to get the network stats, it just boots me off seconds after launching

The WinMTR instructions page doesn’t show the relevant IP’s for OCE servers which is a sub-category to the NA servers and I can’t get into the game to check IP’s manually as it disconnects like everyone else

mine and my husbands are both the americas, we are both having the same issue thankfully we were only playing quick play

I don’t see an IP address for East Coast. Please see below for WinMTR test results for the 24.105.30.129 (US West) and 24.105.62.129 (US Central) servers. Tests were run for roughly 3 minutes.

I’m not really sure if this is right, but it’s the ip for central americas?
I connect to PSE1 which is supposed to be a Singaporean server?

Me and my friends’ve been experiencing this too. I play on NA servers from Singapore, but I’m not sure what server I play on.

Edit: we’ve been experiencing this for about 3 or more days now.

Yeah, another thread mentioned this has been going on for weeks - I too have noticed players leaving game heaps more frequently, assuming via DCs due to the volume, over the past few weeks to months.

I can’t tell if I’ve just been unaffected until now, if its getting worse, or if its something else (I’ve seen DCs in game, but never ones where it boots me out sitting idle in the main menu, not even queued for a match or doing anything)

If anyone has an ongoing issue (more than a week) it is probably not the same as the issue affecting the majority of people in this thread. There are also players on the other game forums discussing this same issue today. I’m confident they are already looking into it, but it wouldn’t hurt to open a few tickets to get things rolling.

i had opened a ticket and was told to do trouble shooting and delete my virus program to correct the issue when i haven’t had an issue with them before then they told me to post on the forums to get the word out there and then marked my ticket as resolved before i got to say anything else they let me know i wasn’t the only one with the issue…
do i still open another ticket though?
i feel it would be a waste of my time if i get the same response…

Thats fair, I wasn’t sure but tonight’s thing does feel different to the ongoing disconnects (like in being DCed from main menu / not even in a game, but it did have the error OP described of “Connection Lost” and inability to stay connected).

Thanks for helping to gather all the info, hopefully they can work it out sooner with all that extra stuff you gathered :smiley:

Forgot to say I had tried raising it but just got the generic link that takes you to a page to check your internet connection, yada yada, then tells you to go to forums lol
