But I just wanted to post what it’d look like visually and I think the more people talking about it the better. Too many people are focused on one versus the other when we should be banning together to get both.
So what if they had a version that was 1-2-2 vs 2-2-2
And the only Tank options were Rein/Orisa/Sigma/Winston, in their buffed supercharged state.

- Healer
Because the more people u pair with 1 tank the more people aren’t waiting in que

both need 4 total support and 2 tanks so then it’d just become people waiting on support instead of tank.
being able to que for 222 and 321 at the same time allows MM to pick from a larger pool of people willing to do different things depending on game-mode.
(for example i’m willing to tank 321 but not 222)

This is where I think it’s a matter of play style. People can’t play 222 and 321 the same way and expect it to work [most times].
321 the majority of the team either has to play closer to tank or everyone scatters and attacks simultaneously. (best results I’ve seen is when everyone plays closer together)

That’s why I figure 1-2-2 with SuperCharged Barrier Tanks would be good.
Since it would play very similar to 2-2-2.
With the added benefit of no double-offtank.

i think ur more in favor of the mmo part of this mmo-fps hybrid game.
most players (and devs) like the idea of making things faster (it helps get people addicted to it when there’s fast rise and falls of adrenaline)
so they try to speed it up as much as possible but still do mmo-favoring-type things that make it appeal to more people.
i think 122 with more barrier would be the opposite. longer ques and more time in game shooting a shield.

You do realize that will also likely 1/2 the number of tank PLAYERS also right ?
Drop the number of tank heroes and you drop the number of players playing tank which means that tank players become like house hippos , everyone wants one but they don’t exist ( Canadians will understand the reference )
