What if you could choose your comp before a game?

What if you can choose your comp before a game or before you queue up for a role?
Just like soccer, when teams choose their formation before a match. Some use three strikers others use only two or even one. Same thing with defenders, etc.

So you would be able to choose 2-2-2 or 1-3-2 (I would leave only these two options because of balancing issues)
If you choose 2-2-2 that teams heroes perform like they do in live comp.
If you choose 1-3-2 , that teams heroes statistics would change to what they are right now in the experimental card for example.

So you could determine what you would want to play and what’s the statistics the heroes would receive depending on your composition.

So if a 2-2-2 team goes against a 1-3-2 team, it won’t be a mismatch because the heroes are balanced according to their compositions.

So if you are a DPS player that wants less wait times you can queue up for the 1-3-2 comp but you would only be allowed to have one tank on your team even if that tank is more buffed than the 2-2-2 comp tanks.

Would be the best of both worlds, and open up a lot of strategies.
If you hate 1 - 3 - 2 you can choose to not play that composition and only play 2 - 2 - 2.

So what you’re saying is that if my team was 2-2-2 and we had an Orissa , it would be the version with 600hp shield and longer cooldown on fortify against a 1-3-2 team with their Orissa having a 900 HP shield and shorter cooldown on fortify right?

Yes, exactly. Your team will have the weaker Orissa but you have the luxury of having a second tank.
Their team has the better Orissa, no 2nd tank but have a 3rd DPS.
IMO, the match can go either way.
