[✅] Simplified AnchorTank Buff/Nerfs

So you got two issues with Tanks:

  1. DoubleBarrier is too strong at Medium/Long range.
    • So it needs Close Range vulnerability/counter.
  2. Tanks aren’t popular enough, and especially the game needs to encourage more SingleBarrier Tank compositions, to fix queue times.

Had a bunch of versions of this idea, but here’s a simplified version:

Sigma

  • Barrier = 1000HP
  • Primary Fire = 20% Faster Projectile Speed
  • Kinetic Grasp = No TempHP, repairs Barrier Instead
  • Accretion = No Stun, Does a Boop instead

Orisa

  • Barrier = 700HP, 6sec coodown
  • Primary Fire = 20% Faster Projectile Speed
  • Fortify = 20% damage Resistance, Bodyblocks EarthShatter/D.vaBomb
  • Halt = No Slow Effect
  • Gallop Passive = Walk for 3sec without attacks/abilities, increases Orisa walkspeed 20%, until she uses an ability or attack.

Reinhardt

  • Barrier = 2000HP, 20% move speed penalty, down from 30%
  • FireStrike = 20% Faster Projectile Speed
  • Healthpool = 100Armor/300HP, down from 200Armor/300HP

From all changes, those for Rein seem like a buff overall despite the 100 armor trade off.

Sigma’s changes seem like a sideways trade off. His shield gets buffed, helping him become established as a main tank. But his other abilities sort of seem like a nerf? His main vulnerability is that he struggles in close range, and the changes seem to increase that vulnerability. But with a stronger barrier and faster projectile speeds he would be able to keep enemies at a distance (which is his play style anyway) even more effectively. Idk, I guess I like the changes but I’d have to play it to feel the difference
