To be fair, you’re not exactly going to be heading out into the tundra to run a mile or do physical labor in a location that cold, you’re going to be huddled up in your bunker.

Not obese but definitely could lose some pounds.

Most tundra/Arctic explorers and researchers are very fit.
What you don’t realize is that in a cold environment your calorie consumption rises to warm you up. This means that you need to really stuff your face to gain some fat, which is impossible with rationed supplies usually.

Honestly, given how her images are at most “chubby” and not “obese” (look at mausamune’s image for example: if THAT is what passes for obese then people really are crazy), I wouldn’t put it down as inclusiveness.
Its just they decided to make a character that looked “normal” rather than the usual “stick thin” figure character like tracer. People just sperg out about it because its so outside the norm.
