I think Mei has great curves and many misjudged her cause of the big shoes and thick parker.
Yes she isn’t slim like tracer but I like girls with actual real round thighs more - hopefully we see more of her body in future skins. And sad not many other chars are as curvy as Mei or Alex

AGAIN, she is not obese, but she IS overweight. Her weigh is not within a healthy range - it is several steps towards being actually fat.
It’s not too much, true. But it’s pointless to argue she is completely healthy.

Using the BMI system is really meaningless unless you have actual information on her weight, height and muscle mass. Otherwise it’s a guessing game.
There’s really nothing wrong with Mei, she could literally just be a thicker gir!, they do exist; girls that tend to carry more fat on there body without necessarily being fat. Just like men, these types of women exist in the real world.
Mei is a videogame character not a real life human being. I could understand if ppl disliked her because they’re artists and she may look disproportionate, otherwise I really don’t understand the issue.

A very good chunk of the playerbase also thinks matchmaking is an omniscient god that forces you to lose exactly 50% of games, so I don’t put much weight into very good chunks of the playerbase.

Back to point 2… the large issue with BMI/similar… is without some personal viewpoint, it is problematic.
When I worked out ~3 hours a day, I was ~210lbs with my 5"10" height. I was technically bouncing back and forth between obese and overweight. But it was pretty much all muscle. so I was healthy.
Now, well, I let myself slack on working out and didn’t stop my calorie intake, so now i’m finally getting myself to slowly get down to a healthy weight.
