the fact that they say QM can’t be balanced should be a huge red flag for anybody playing this game .bottom line they there will be no change and the game suffers because of it

I have no issue with QM nor any game mode for that matter.
I dislike people moaning about QM while what they want is just what draft modes offer.
Some prefer inflicting themslelves with a subpar experience (from their perspective) just because waiting for few minutes to have a queue is too much to ask to them.
I have even less patience for QM whinners ever since forced QM comps which was the best thing happening to this mode imo got trashed.

It can be balanced and be more fair/even in matchups.
They did it.
The community as a whole spurned it, for increasing queue times. Most people on the forum, as I read if, would prefer that older version of QM.

As I mentioned, most threads complaining about QM want to turn it into a draft mode. They put it as “impose rules on QM to ensure balanced comps.” Which is exactly what draft modes are. A bunch of rules to slow down the process of getting into a match to ensure balanced comps.

This is actually the functional issue of many topics concerning qm: the lack of reasoning to the topic, suggestion, or the like.
Posters come, ill informed, make rants that degenerate into like vs hate, when that doesnt matter, and prattle on like ignorance of particulars is magically empowering and some posters pick personalized fights as if “winning” that would somehow change the game as they bounce ad hominems off one-another.
It esp doesnt help that a hefty portion of qm topics are made by 0-post accounts that dont even change their avatar and may either not post ever again, convey they dont even play the game, or eventually give way that its an alt account for the same-ol same-ol and is pretty much troll bait.
If said topic creators bothered to put in an iota of sincerity and intelligence to their rants, they’d get better reception.

I don’t hate quick match and I still play it. What I hate is when users complain about quick match for stupid reasons.
Quick match is designed to get players into games very quickly and as a result of that, a lot of the compositions it creates are goofy. Now it does try it’s best to create even matches, but there’s only so much it can do depending on how many players are playing and what roles/heroes they are playing.
I understand this, so I don’t get angry at Blizzard for the clown fiesta that is quick match and yet there seems to be a lot of players who come to the forums to complain about QM’s match making.
You say that they have “reasonable complaints or suggestions” but I have rarely if ever seen that. All of the complaints are from players who think that because they lost a game it must be the match maker, because the composition QM gave them didn’t match up with their subjective view of what type of composition they should have had.
That or the other type of complaints about QM match making lack and substance and just go along the lines of “Blizzard fix your dumb match making!”
Neither complaint is reasonable, in the first one if a player is going to constantly complain about the match making due to the compositions they get and don’t like, well there are two other modes where you can draft and create a more competitive composition. Like I said above, the chaotic clown fiesta that are QM compositions are what allows players to get into games quickly with whatever hero they want.
As to the other complaint well, it lacks substance in the first place, so there’s nothing to discuss.

wrong again . you change things to make them better but that won’t happen here to many people fearful of change to warrant the attention this game needs . i totally agree you just have to accept it for what it is no point in wanting to be better it’s just a waste of time and energy

You cannot make things better without admitting that the current state is flawed. If it were not flawed, it could not be made better.
I have a special place in my heart for omniscient arbiters of what exactly is or isn’t “better” for the game.

so basically you fear change . nice backwards logic you have going . so in your mind you only make the things you hate better. it’s a good thing the majority of people don’t think like that the world would go back to the dark ages. i have never met anyone that would invest time to improve something they hate

Fearing change, I would argue is quite normal, logical, and reasonable, especially when you don’t know what those changes are. After all, not all change is good, it can be neutral or bad as well.
Do you like washing your clothes by hand, getting around town in your horse and buggy, and writing letters on parchment paper with quill and ink, etc.?
Lots of modern conveniences were made because people hated doing things and wanted to make things easier, just because you haven’t meet someone who had the means to invest into improving things they hate doesn’t mean that they don’t exist or that you don’t reap the benefits of their investments.
Heck players hate waiting and having to fill roles they don’t want to play in this game and luckily there’s a mode for that, because Blizzard invested time and resources to making it for you.
Now then, let’s get into specifics. What changes are you proposing for Quick Match to make it better?
