Why try to accuse the accuser instead of just acknowledging that your team is simply inferior in either picks or skill and to just agree to let them end. There is 0 fun in being stomped.
EDIT: In case you are interested, this is where the convo is at:
They are challenging me on my perception of the 0% chance to win and coming up with potential scenarios where they would have found a way to win. But they just don’t get that QM is flawed and the skill gap between players is astronomical, which explains why 90% of my games are 1-way stomps. We should remove QM entirely and replace with Blind draft.

Eh, I had an ARAM match last night where our team had a double Alexstrasza comp, and of course we both went E build because ARAM. The Thrall on our team was complaining how we were losing, and that the Malfurion was outhealing the Alexes. Of course he was constantly going in 1v5 and dying (6 deaths by the 10 minute mark), so he was told to play safe, and stall for 20 when it would become an auto-win.
See? The one complaining is the weak link. I find if you give them a goal that can lead to a win condition, in a constructive manner, of course, it works often enough to be worth it.
If you think you can confirm a loss based on kills/deaths, you are deluding yourself, and haven’t played enough games to know that most kills ≠ winning.
Stomps are only stomps when nobody do anything and give up.
How to you come back from 0-30,
the levels are 12 to 16,
the enemy is not pushing on purpose to farm kills at this point.
The Enemy team ahs 2-3 very high skilled players, maybe even better than me.
I am the only skilled player on my team. (Relative to my perception and Knowledge, and you know, stats…)
Knowing this, how do you win, or how do you have fun?
Entertain me please. Assume everything I said is true (My perception) for the purposes of your analysis. No what ifs. What would you do to win that game. Oh btw, your team is not talking at all. And GO! Map is Hanamura.
Edit: Friendly team is: Thrall (me). GM, Stiches, E.T.C and Sylvanas.
Enemy team is: Nova, Illidan, Butcher, Cassia and Anub’Arak.
You failed with the first word. You’re trying to inject logic to a personal opinion. Understand that what is fun to me may not be fun to you. You are not the boss of anyone to order them to stop playing.
You’re having trouble accepting that this is the type of community you must deal with on a regular basis. And there is nothing you can do about it, except stop playing the game.
It’s called hope. Many people do this just to get through life. It’s delusional if they are aware of the reality. Yet, people still cling to hope.
You’re the deluded one to think you can manage other peoples time based on your own.
I’m legit trying to understand why people are the way they are. Like why they can’t just say something like: “You know what, you are right, we are simply outmatched, this is not fun” and proceed to afk and let that joke of a game from the almighty “fair and balanced” matchmaker end so we can get (hopefully) a fair game that is enjoyable sooner and stop wasting time.
Instead it turns into something like this: “ACKSHUALLY, YOU ARE THE BAD ONE and you should kys”. Like is it the EGO that cannot accept that it is wrong/bad or something else?
You completely lose me here. HOTS is way too generous with its comeback mechanics. I’ve won with 2 AI on my team, I’ve won with someone deliberately walking into towers and dying, I’ve won with a Split Push Nova (no kidding) and I’ve won after “losing” the entire match because our team won a late team fight.
You are of course correct, not every game can be won, but what fun what that be? In my early days of playing the game I would internally “give up” when it just seemed “impossible” to win. That mindset resulted in my losing far more games than I should, I later understood few games were impossible to win and now just to always give my all until a core is dead.
Once you become experienced enough, you can tell within the first 5 minutes of the game with a 99% certainty if you can win the game. I’m not talking about that FLUKE 1%. My point is, every game should be winnable. If it is not, we should not play it. Maybe if we all went along with that principle, blizzard might be forced to do something about it. People will always take the path of least resistance. Sometimes, you gotta throw some obstacles in that path is all I am saying.
You just answered your own question. You’re not the only one with this mindset and instead of looking to see what you can do better, your only recourse is to afk.
Why is it so hard to assume that my perception was correct? Like you are legit the exact same as the others. “No u”. There is NOTHING that I can do better if it’s a 30 to 0. Like if my team could not win at an even level, you think they can win 4 levels down… god you people are legit either trolls or just plain ol’ stupid. I’m leaning on the trolling because I do not want to believe that most people are so egotistical that they cannot even agree that sometimes you can’t win and there is nothing you can do about it. That it is not fun and that there is no reason to play that game.
The only thing I get from continuing to play that game is just more time wasted being miserable instead of having fun.
Like assume that I am an intelligent person and that I am able to make a correct assessment of the situation. That’s the part that people like you can’t get your head around. You do not offer others any respect. You immediately go to “how can this be wrong”. Like wtf is wrong w u? You like this IRL too or just online flexing your epeen behind the veil of anonymity, feeding your own ego?
I reject that, I’ve heard the same assertion from people saying “90% of games you can predict are lost from just looking at the load screen”, it’s just as untrue and can be simply a self fulfilling prophecy.
That’s an extreme case, with the changes to the XP globes that should almost never happen now.
They already have compared to the past. There are so many comeback mechanics, such as the change in XP globes, passive XP from destroyed forts, power spikes with talents. Really what more do you want?
