Team A:
- Diablo, Tyrael, Artanis, Nova, Viking
VS
Team B:
- Malganis, Nazeebo, Kael, Junkrat, Azmodan
The map is : Braxis Holdout
Assuming both sides have equal skill.
It is a QM game.

Team A probably. That triple frontline is really really scary and has a lot of sustain. Then you combine everything with sanct + the ability to delete any of the backline on the enemy team post 10 and you got yourself a win.
Assuming the vikings are good enough, they can just stay in the solo lane controlling everything. One viking freezes the wave close to towers, another one keeps getting the globe on the side and helping the other one to get the point. Seen it done before and there’s no one able to win that unless you send another person to the lane, which is a win on the other lane (4 v 3).
My vote goes to team B.
Team B has way more waveclear but is more squishy. Though they can burst a target quickly. Team A has more sustain, which is good on Braxis. But only Nova can force the enemy heroes to back off. The moment Nova dies they lose.
I would say Team B. I mean. a single objective is going all the way to the keep against Team A. They’d have to clear it using lightning breath.
Pretty much this. While team B has more damage, team A will win unless they mess up. Tyrael is a very scary diver, combined with nova they can instantly delete KT. Artanis + Diablo is pretty good pusher/damage soaker combo. Even if they do kill tyrael, he will trade his D for a wounded opponent.
Team A also has the advantage of map presence. Even if they would lose in early game, they will outsoak and win through level advantage.
Triple frontline almost always wins against solo frontline, unless the solo one is Arthas or Etc
Also team B is really late game comp with Azmodan, Junkrat and Nazeebo. Team A just dominates and sustains much more on the point. Diablo with spellshield + W build should never ever die to the enemy team, then you throw tyrael shields and sanct in there too and you just win it all.
People saying team B has more waveclear so they should win… you don’t need waveclear when you just win the point. This is just the “ragnaros effect”. Oh, rag lava wave is so good to clear the zergs… Well, guess what, you don’t need to clear the zergs if you just draft a strong control point/team fights team and win it all.
I would say team B because because team A has tyrael nova and viking who can slip up more easily and be punished for mistakes while team B has faceroll heroes with waveclear to recover.
MG may feel pressure as a single frontliner but he also has tools to peel and face several melees with sleep and might of tychondrius.
And Vikings allow the entire other 4 gank squad to rotate freely. Team B has to either roam as 5 and lose soak or dispatch one of their assasins to clear wave.
Yes but do not forget that viking and a 4 man squad can give free stacks to junkrat and azmodan.
Team B would solo with either Naz or Junkrat. They don’t need to rotate until they get a kill.
Can I use “Call to friend” option to answer this question?
Naz or Junk on the solo lane. Vikings should just dominate that very easily.
Team A also has double bribe for camps, and a full PvE build Artanis can push like crazy with camps or a zerg wave.
Team A wins because they have Dibbles
That’s a brightwing ability. So only if you’re BW.
It’s based on minions kills though. They can’t rotate and stack them on a two lane map like they would normally. Team B can quickly take merc camps at any time however, on top of having more wave clear.
They don’t need to bribe all of them at once. Stealing the enemy camp, and leaving their camps for Artanis to clean up, will give them quite a bit of map control. Team B may be able to clear their own camps, but trying to invade against a Diablo/Tyrael is fairly suicidal.
I think you,re free to invade whenever Nova is dead. Tyrael/Diablo don’t have a very high kill pressure on you. They can stand on the point and be zombie walled, then take the full ability cycle of KT and Naz.
For me, it’s Nova’s presence that would determine when I take camps.
They can stand on the point and be zombie walled, then take the full ability cycle of KT and Naz.
That would only happen if they were both completely insane. Zombie Wall is one of the easiest things to dodge, and why would both of them be standing on the control point at the same time? In addition, KT is very squishy, as is Naz until he is stacked, and because it is a two lane map, he will stack much more slowly. Diablo and Tyrael, especially with the move and attack speed talent on Smite, is more than enough to delete those two.
Edit: Not to mention that Tyrael can escape a Zombie Wall pretty much whenever he feels like it with El’Druin, and depending on positioning, Dibbles can get out with a Q.
My thoughts about this puzzle.
Braxis HoldOut. Small map, offence: team king of the hill objective, defence: Zerg wave, wave clear needed.
Team comparison and victory conditions:
Team A must win objective or face the zerg onslaught with lack of wave clear. Team fight is strong and can bully camps if needed.
Team B delay objective and play defensively to win, use camps as vital distractions, chunk the enemy to force them to reset, could give a Zerg wave if needed. Win the objective, and the team fight becomes easier.
Since you said QM, B wins for free because A spreads living bombs
