It’s good that we see some updates for this game however, it’s an awful experience to play this game. Not only a map hack but a game-breaking cheat that Hanzo’s trait can activate without any wall.
I reported to the right people months ago, yet no replies, and no forum posts. Please at least address the issue. It makes no sense to make bug-fix patches when it’s pointless to play this game. Can we get some updates on the anti-cheat system rather than hero bugs?
I watched the video and it didn’t look like cheats to me… he used the towerstructure for the first two jumps as well as he used the structure on map at the third jump at wide angle. Also I wouldnt call him a maphacker just because he reacted quickly with good aiming vs khara at that one scene.
I think there might be a misunderstanding about Hanzo’s D trait; the escapes provided seem to be working as intended. It’s crucial to understand each hero’s mechanics thoroughly to enjoy balanced gameplay. Let’s continue to discuss constructively!
Educate yourself. The fact that you said that says youre clueless or you believe cheating in that game doesn’t exist. First know the facts, then make a statement.
No one mentioned why the camera on hanzo was zoomed out. In the second attempt to kill that player he used his trait without any wall, tower or terrain.
Natural Agility has a 9.0 range. There’s no cheat involved in your video.
I never denied that map hacks exist.
First, confirm the facts, then make a statement.
You should upload that game in heroesprofile. They know there is a zoomed-out cheat and mark the player with a tag.
I’m assuming you didn’t call that map hack though. As far as my understanding goes, those are different. There is real map hack where everything is revealed, and there is tjat zoomed-out vision cheat. Didn’t see anywhere saying they’re the same.
Be a dear and put some time stamps on. I don’t doubt you, but surely you don’t expect everyone to watch all 10 mins of gameplay footage?
The video looks like legit hanzo play. Both times they used a tower or wall to jump over, likely with a precise location. Instead of watching the replay, try to recreate the jump yourself, far better proof than speculating based on what you think is legit gameplay.
At least report a Hanzo robot as cheating since the Hanzo AI can use trait without a wall… Like literally Hanzo when AI controlled can jump on the spot without walls for years now. Not sure if the recent bug fix patch finally fixed that or not.
Although there can be cheating, it is most often in the form of botting.
In this case I’m afrain you are incorrect, Eddie. The first two times he is clearly jumping over his cannon tower. (Well the second time might be the wall). And the third time he is jumping over the corner of the bushy terrain. It’s just barely getting over the corner, but that is enough.
As to your second question, your video is from watching a replay. In replays you can zoom the camera out more than in game since you are only watching and not playing. That does not indicate that is how he saw the game live. See “Z” and “Shift-Z” Extensive Replay Hotkey Guide
What’s the point of walking if you might stub your toe
Clothes are pointless if you have to remove them to defecate.
Eating is just a terrible diversion and we’re going to die anyway.
It ‘makes no sense’ because you didn’t apply any.
“Sense” is what people apply, not the horse-pulling cart you’re trying to tote.
A lot of people seems to think this is just a replay but I can vouch that expanded camera is a legitimate hack that was caught couple of years ago and reported on reddit with legitmate sourced case of evidence.
Replays saves your current zoom as values so when the player zooms in the replay knows well if you zoom in or not in game when you watch someone, but also surprisingly when you alter your camera zoom out in-game it also saves it in replay.
Heroes Profile actually permanently ban people who do this because they do a check if the numbers are altered and has been super effective with it.
While yes, you can Z/Shift + Z in replay to zoom out its not the case.
If you use those buttons prior of changing to a character the replay remembers you are zooming out, but if you don’t it will adjust to what the player’s exact settings are, including (for absolutely no reason but as an example) zoomed in fully on their camera.
So in conclusion, the person is cheating with an extended camera zoom out.
