I used to love playing Whitemane. Hadn’t played her in maybe a half year; so I tried her out today and she’s completely changed. Her abilities don’t even make sense like 1 and w reduces desperation but is channeled for 3 sec - in that amount of time desperation is over anyway. Please release her again in her original form

Old Chromie was a carry hero when played by skilled Chromie mains. She could also instantly combo to death over extending assassins with Temporal Loop and 200+ stacks. Can’t have that in HotS can we…

I would prefer a mix of her various incarnations as all of them had something interesting. Her current W is cool for example, just wish i could aim each one separately.
Except for the basic idea of basic attack talents one can´t say that about the WM rework

She is basically a W bot because currently W build provides the most utility. Desperation also feels a bit pointless outside of not letting you use Zeal frequently. I just wish she had more interesting talents outside of W talents… Maybe they can move the root back to lvl13 for early E build utility? Or maybe one of her E talents gives her mana regen? Or some kind of extra E range? I don’t even know … I kinda miss old Whitemane as well but a select few of the new changes are okay
She was never the same after the rework, though her build diversity has definitely not changed, level 13 is still a one talent pick
And you can no longer mix and match some talents.
At best she’s a W bot.

Having old Indulgence back instead of the current insult by the same name would already be a good step back to a playable version of Whitemane.

That would require them to admit they made a mistake, and its pretty much corporate number 1 to never do that: “Always attack, never apologize” as Donald trump’s mentor taught him.
While I do agree that the original Whitemane was more fun than any of the last three reworks, I doubt they will revert the changes at this point. If you had the chance to read the sticky game AI thread, the guy behind the upcoming changes wants nothing but praise, but when asked who broke the AI in the first place and why it didn’t get reverted for a full year, no reply.
Comes down to personal pride and stubbornness.
