I was playing a few hours ago, closed the game, and when I get back there was an update I’ve installed and now when I try to play I get the “Game client version mistmatch…”
I’ve run the repair tool but everything is good.
My current version is 2.49.4.78679
Edit: It is fixed, now I can enter normally

I’m having the same issue.
literally just updated, same
edit: if you log in on the log in screen when it fails you can get it. there must be a mismatch on the patcher to what vers the game is on.
easy work around for now.

Same here.
So now have uninstalled the game and deleted all files and now I am reinstalling it so gonna see if it works.
Was getting this same error after updating. Current version showing 2.49.4.78679 Cleared my battle.net cache but still got the same as well. It just now allowed me in.
The issue has seem to resolve itself and I can now get in.
I get this message when I try to log in on game on US server but on EU server it is no problem.
Even after update.
I have the same issue. My game is fully updated but it will not let me play, even after the update. Blizzard you need to fix this NOW.

see title. happened with the patch from today.
Hey all,
Looks like there was a brief issue that caused a mismatch when the patch went out. It should be cleared up now.
If anyone is still running into this issue go ahead and try running the Scan and Repair and let us know if that doesn’t help!
