Now Venture is now in the Overwatch roster, she will be added in the Nexus. Anyway…

Ranged bruiser, capable of drilling in and out of combat.

Strengths:

Weaknesses:

  • Mediocre Speed
  • Poke Damage

Basic Abilities:

  • Seismic Bolt (Q) - Venture fires a bolt that deals area damage and stuns for a short time.
  • Drill Thrust (W) - Venture charges forward with a drill. Once charges an enemy hero, deals heavy damage and stuns for a short time.
  • Repulsion Quake (E) - Venture slams the ground, dealing area damage and slows down movement.
  • Explorer’s Resolve (Trait) - Using abilities grants temporary shields.
  • Burrow Mode (Z) - Venture moves underground and moves faster. Pressing and holding the same key to emerge and damage enemies.

Heroic Abilities:

  • Tectonic Shock (R1) - Venture’s basic attacks enhances and sends out damaging shockwaves. It has four charges for each attack.
  • Seismic Wave (R2) - Venture unleashes a large wave of seismic energy to damage and knocks back enemies.
  • Earthquake (R3) - Venture burrows herself and deals large area damage while reducing damage taken to friendly heroes. Venture cannot be targeted while channeling this ultimate.

Backstory:
Venture is no ordinary archaeologist, but armed with an excavator, she can dig the undiscovered relics of the past and ward off any obstacles that may stand in her way.

Talents:
Level 1:

  • Venturing In (Quest) - Abilities gain the following attributes:
  1. Seismic Bolt’s ability range.
  2. Drill Thrust’s cooldown reduction when hitting an enemy hero.
  3. Repulsion Quake’s area radius.
  • Seismic Feedback (Q) - Seismic Bolt restores mana
  • Earthen Piercer (Q) - Seismic Bolt now passes creeps.

Level 4:

  • Smart Bolt (Q) - Seismic Bolt can now lock on enemy heroes.
  • Drill Smarts (W) - Drill Thrust gains critical damage when hitting an enemy hero.
  • Serrated Drill (W) - Drill Thrust deals damage overtime.

Level 7:

  • Quake Break (E) - Repulsion Quake now stuns and grants vulnerability status.
  • Excavating Ensemble (Passive) - Abilities enhance basic attacks and temporarily gain critical damage.
  • Seismic Defender (E) - Repulsion Quake grants armor nearby allied heroes.

Level 13:

  • Advanced Seismic Bolt (Q) - Seismic Bolt now deal more damage.
  • Advanced Drill Thrust (W) - Drill Thrust now gain ability range.
  • Advanced Repulsion Quake (E) - Repulsion Quake no longer requires mana.

Level 16:

  • Quake of Life (E) - Repulsion Quake has life steal.
  • Repulsion Expulsion (E) - Repulsion Quake now knocks back enemies.
  • License to Drill (W) - Drill Thrust has now two charges.

Level 20:

  • Tectonic Rampage (R1) - Takedowns adds one more charge of Tectonic Shock.
  • Rayleigh Wave (R2) - Seismic Wave grants attack speed and damage reduction.
  • Rumbling Chaos (R3) - Earthquake deals damage overtime and gain spell armor.
  • Rock Solid (Trait) - Explorer’s Resolve is now immune to abilities.
  • Drill Overcharge (Active) - Basic attacks and abilities enhanced for a short period of time.

I still can’t believe they added chomper from Plants Versus Zombies Garden Warfare to Overwatch… As for your take on it in HotS, I’m a bit confused on how the burrow mode works and I’d be a bit worried it would cause reduced visual clarity given dehaka also burrows underground, but other then that it seems pretty fine, I like the idea of 3 ultimate choices

Venture can go underground without being seen or attacked by enemy heroes, but she cannot attack while burrowed. When attacking an enemy target, she unburrows quickly and attacks automatically.
