Venture Concept [Overwatch]

Happy new year!
I’m just gonna post this concept now, cos if I keep working on it I’m never gonna be done. This one’s a bit cracked but I just wanted to have fun with the potential of what they could do, Venture in Overwatch is very unique with their playstyle and tbh, a lot of their abilities translate really well into a MOBA!

Advantages - Invulnerability while underground, high mobility, strong sustain
Disadvantages - No self healing, high cooldowns, susceptible to poke.

Q - Smart Excavator - 6 seconds - Fire a rock that travels up to 5 units or until hitting a target, and dealing 110 damage on direct hit and 45 damage in a 2.5 unit range around it.

W - Drill Dash - 9 seconds - Dash 5 units over 1.2 seconds in the target direction, dealing 120 damage and knocking enemies back 1 unit. Enemies have a hit cooldown of 0.5 seconds. Can be activated while underground, dealing 50% damage.

E - Drill Burrow - 4 seconds - Channel for 3 seconds, after which go underground and become invulnerable, gaining 15% move speed and reducing your vision range by 50%. Using an ability or dismounting will immediately unearth you. Taking damage does not interrupt channelling.
Explosive Entrance - 16 seconds - Only active while underground from Drill Burrow. After 1.5 seconds, launch from the target area dealing 340 damage to all enemies within a 4 unit range. While above ground, the cooldown of Explosive Entrance is shown on your active hotbar.

Trait - Explorer’s Resolve - Using an ability grants a stacking shield equal to 6% of your maximum health for 4 seconds, up to 30%. (Drill Burrow grants the shield upon exiting the ground).
Clobber - Basic attacks damage in a 180 degree arc and take 1 second to fully perform, dealing (24) damage every 0.25 seconds. Can move while basic attack is being performed.

Z - Venture cannot use mounts. Shares Drill Burrow ability.

R1 - Tectonic Shock - 75 seconds - For 7 seconds, replace Smart Excavator with Tectonic Shock. Tectonic Shock deals 240 damage in a 45 degree, 10 unit range. 0.75 second cooldown between uses, and 4 charges.

R2 - Controlled Eruption - 90 seconds - Channel for 1.5 seconds, with a global range. Raise a 3 by 3 unit volcano at the target area that lasts 15 seconds, dealing 190 damage in a 5 unit range upon creation. The volcano constantly erupts lava, dealing 8 damage every 0.25 seconds in its range.

Lvl 1
Break it Down - Quest: Damage enemy heroes with basic attacks. Reward: Each hit increases basic attack damage by 0.01. After 50 hits, increase your basic attack range by 0.5. After 100 hits, increase basic attack speed by 10%
Deep Dive - Increase the move speed of Drill Burrow by 10%, and Explosive Entrance’s cast time is reduced by 0.5 seconds.
Resolute - Gain 3 charges of Block, reducing damage of the next physical attack by 75%. 16 second cooldown, refreshing 300% faster while underground.

Lvl 4
Seismic Sensor - You can see over obstacles, and non-invisible enemies within range are revealed whenever they move, use an ability, or basic attack; they remain revealed after no longer performing actions for 1 second. Passive: Vision while underground is no longer reduced.
Rock Slide - Quest: Damage enemy heroes 20 times with Drill Dash. Reward: Increase Drill Dash’s damage by 5, up to 100. After 10 hits, Drill Dash’s range is increased by 20% . After 20 hits, Drill Dash gains a second charge, with a 2 second cooldown between uses.
Dirt Tactics - Basic Attacks deal an additional 10% of its damage over 2 seconds.

Lvl 7
Surprise! - Drill Burrow’s exit damage is increased by 25% for every enemy hero in range.
Volatile Rocks - Smart Excavator marks enemies for 3 seconds. Basic attacks against marked enemies deal 50% additional damage and extend the duration by 0.25 seconds, up to an additional 3 seconds.
Killer Shredding - Decrease the cooldown of Drill Dash by 1 second for each hero hit. Passive: Drill Dash’s cooldown refreshes 100% faster while underground.

Lvl 13
Power Drill - Drill Dash deals an additional 4% of enemy heroes’ health. The initial 1 unit of Drill Dash’s range deals an additional 4% of enemy heroes’ maximum health, and knocks enemies back 100% further.
Cobble Skin - 60 seconds - Activate your trait to gain a shield equal to 30% of your maximum health for 6 seconds. Damaging enemies with Smart Excavator reduces the cooldown by 3 seconds.
Role Passive - Enemies damaged by basic attacks or abilities receive 25% reduced healing for 3 seconds.

Lvl 16
Adept Archeologist - Damaging enemy heroes with basic attacks reduces your heroic ability cooldown by 1%, tripled against heroes.
Tar - Smart Excavator slows enemies by 30% for 3 seconds.
Rocky Horror - Gain a second charge of Smart excavator, with a 1 second cooldown between uses. Basic attacks reduce the cooldown of Smart Excavator by 0.5 seconds.

Lvl 20
Aftershocks (R1) - Tectonic Shock has 2 extra charges and lasts 4 seconds longer.
Tectonic Control (R2) - Up to 3 volcanoes can be present at once (cannot be spawned within 5 units of each other). After a volcano’s duration ends, it goes dormant and loses tangibility. Upon using Controlled Eruption again, all dormant volcanoes also trigger the effect of Controlled Eruption. If Controlled Eruption is used while 3 volcanoes are spawned, the oldest volcano is destroyed upon activation. Damage from volcanoes does not stack.
Earth Day - Decrease the cooldown of Explosive Entrance by 10 seconds, and Explosive Entrance roots enemies for 2 seconds.
Wound Up - Basic attacks decrease the cooldown between basic attacks by 5%, up to 100%.
