I have had this problem in StarCraft 2 as well:
And it’s somewhat still there, at least in Linux if I don’t update WINE.
However for Heroes Of The Storm, the problem is not just on Linux, but on Windows as well!
all I get is a blue modal dialog with a spinner that keeps me waiting and never shows anything at all!

Forgot to mention that somehow I managed to purchase some gems, but I’m still concerned, all I get is that blue screen.
