As of about a week ago I started noticing that I would sometimes get an error message when first opening up the game from the Battle.net launcher that would prevent me from logging in. I got the “Version Mismatch” message after the authentication process and followed the instructions.
In previous days, it would allow me to log back in after a second attempt at launching. However, today, the game just refuses to let me in at all, it seems.
I manually check for updates (no help). I tried doing a Scan & Repair (no help). I’m not sure what’s going on… I may just try doing a complete uninstall and reinstall next to see if that would help me.

EDIT: After doing a search I followed a suggestion that someone posted within the past year of selecting a different Region from the battle.net launcher , then switching back to my original (North America) region.
I’m not sure if this is “the” solution to the problem necessarily, but just wanted to let everyone know that this workaround DID WORK for me .
