Sorry, I didn’t noticed that. ![]()
The problem is people focus too much on raw numbers and they don’t see the rest. They only want higher healing. Maybe if there was “utility done” in stats…

Stat subscreen that shows stun duration, root duration, damage increased, etc. I’m advocating this since forever.
haha… 4 people, oh my goddddd
I think her aa range is fine, i miss her abilty to actuallly do damage with her aa. Searing arrows would be nice to get back.
I’m the only one who understood you it seems
Tho you should’ve been more specific tbh&f.
Tyrande is fine as is. She’s got good healing output with a ton of utility. I think buffing her base range would be problematic.
I do think it’d be cool to give her a talent that grants increased range against targets marked with Hunter’s Mark. That’d be pretty neat.
A more detailed list of stats whenever you mouse over each major stat would be an awesome UI improvement.
Like, an overall “Support” stat that shows a dropdown list separating damage dealt to allies you mitigated via healing, shielding, and armoring allies and debuffing enemies, or a “Tank” stat that shows how much damage dealt to yourself you have mitigated and how.
For “Hero Damage” it would separate to Spell Damage, Physical Damage, and %-Based Damage.
I’m not a fan of mouseovers, they are surprisingly often poorly implemented and make screenshotting and table conversion inconvenient. Having this in a new tab or subtab would give them all the space they need and life would be good.
How about a dropdown arrow that opens a dropdown box?
The one thing I would suggest tuning on Tyrande switching the active/passive functions on her lvl 4 owl talent. While people talked a big game with the snipe wayback when, and even wayever backer whener such that her previous iteractions had the damage spike on owl come later in the game, people don’t take the current owl talent for the snipes.
So having the pierce be the passive (and at lvl 4 again :D) boosts the effect for cdr which would help in maps/matches where she may have a harder time using basic attacks for her heals.
With some of the aa heroes getting some buffs, esp stuff like Raynor’s execute, that is an indirect buff to tyrande’s appeal for trait/trueshot build, which may deviate her talent fixation on her stun for players/teams that want to build to race instead of wombo.
So the switch on owl could help round out the type of build appeals her talents could have at 4, as otherwise, a damage focus on owl competes with a damage focus on stun, so by comparison, its just going to lose out.
I guess my Tyrande wishlist(Beyond my not gonna happen ‘bring back Tyrande 1.0’ wish) would be…
Baseline pierce. You could put it on ranger, but all the non ranger talents specify ‘first enemy hit’ anyway. Regardless it feels awful to have the extra micro to do what the ability should do naturally.
Darnassian archery doesn’t drop off when you accidentally hit a non-hero. I don’t get why that’s there at all. Even if there were some weird siege Tyrande concerns there’s already ‘This only works on heroes’ mechanics in the game.
Work on her 4 tier as hero defining. If the added pierce isn’t enough make ranger stronger, the main thing that made ranger bs was qm and the other team not having a healer. But since she’s classified as a healer and not a support that’s not a issue anymore. But if damage isn’t a option it could get it’s original width back to make it more consistent. Maybe trueshot aura gives the extra attack range the ops petitioning for.
I personally miss the old Tyrande. I also wish when they reworked her, that they could have made her like Rexxar, but multi class! With a choice between a Frostsaber or an Owl for either dps or healing. Used to love when blizz did unique stuff for heroes like that. Shame they didn’t give Anduin shadowform, missed opportunity at a nod to Hearthstone, Spriests everywhere, and memes. Having a lot of variety in a single hero is what makes them so much more fun, its a spice that is sorely missed, its what makes Uther, Varian, Nazeebo, and Abathur so fun and dynamic, depending on how you play them.
Ive read it. I just chose to ignore it ![]()
You were one of the few who made sense
I like the idea as long as we’re thinking QM and ARAM.
Sadly, have to say that I would hate dealing with this change in UD and SL.
She is a strong healer with a bunch of utilities, she doesn’t really fit in/ against any composition but if you draft her for/ against a right team - she’ll do great.
That’s the main issue, she is good now, improving her to be a more generic fit would make her too op in a draft mode.
Saying that, I do think a general adjustment of her talents would be nice. Mainly to make it easier to adjust the build based on team compositions therefor making her a more generic hero.
I don’t know if 0.5 is just a little bit but 1 extra AA range is quality of life change for most AD carries.
It isn’t qualify of life change, it is huge buff!
Its not even hard to imagine with Tyrande, just play her level 20 Shooting Star talent since that gives her a +1 range and the difference is easily noticeable.
