Tracer will always be a badly designed Hero, regardless of how strong she is, because it turns the game into the following:

Does your team have strong Point and Click Stuns?
If Yes: You probably win because they are down a DPS who most likely can’t do anything
If No: AHAHAHAHAHA

Lunara too…And Lt. Morales I think? Brightwing of course…Hammer I think. Really lots of characters that were later added to their respective universes. HOTS has been getting pilfered for years!

If No: Like half the roster still counters her just with AA’s/burst, plus with her reduced damage, you have plenty of time to get to safety now so don’t worry about it. Her pulse bomb does even less damage now. You really have to be trying to die to her or getting picked by her team so she can lock it down.

Tracer will always be one of those heroes to when ever they are good they are a toxic gameplay experience for everyone else, does that mean she’s op?

Reminds me on Ilidan, he was also either too strong or too bad. I played some games with Tracer and for me, she feels like she is doing way less dmg than before, but for that she’s less squishy. I like her 13 talent, when she gets a shield for blinking but also the reworked unstoppable talent with only 6 stacks, it is not so frustrating now to get stacks with her.

But I have a question about that lifesteal talent on 4, some of you guys said it gives 30% lifesteal, how so? I read only 5% per charge, so it sums up to 15%… Does Tracer have 15% on her own without the talent now?

People crying OW has a solid DPS hero again that doesn’t require the player to be a GM………feelz gooooooood BB

Tracer can prob only solo the tombs boss as I tried solo’ing BHB boss and other bosses and the area seems too small to kite.

Either way, why is this a bad thing? a few dps heroes can solo bosses. Gaz, Varian…

Er…chief half your roster may be ranged AA assassins but the rest of us serfs like to use other heroes.

Nobody cares that hero can solo boss, but how long it takes. Tracer Hero missing from the minimap for 1+min should right the bell. And since bosses are not miles away from the lane, and early you should lane…

Except people are not familiar with a supposely squishy dive hero soloing bosses early.
If it is one minute it could be knight camps.

Anyway if she soloes bosses imagine what she does to her “counters”.

I mean if Tracer’s opponents are so bad they are comparable to the Boss’ AI then I should be worried about more things than hero balance…

You can’t kill what you can’t hit works for everyone.
Not hard when stutterstepping is not a skill you need to have.

Bosses AI is also buggy and its path finding and struggles with reaching its target that temporarily hits walls failing to keep the gap closer, its a bad comparison.

Most melee heroes have ranged abilities in their arsenals or gap closer, they aren’t simply “hopeless” as you all make it sound and if its just a simple 1v1 then yeah what a shame.

If you played tracer, it seems only the tomb boss can be soloed. I tried with other map bosses and the area is too small to kite

And even it is possible, she’s out for a whole minute, exposed to get her’s stolen too, while at the same time stuck in a 4 v 5. Its highly risky tactic to begin with, I won’t even bother committing such thing when I’m picking her to be a main DPS hero, which sadly she doesn’t provide due this patch.

Nothing like having a heroes mere existence make over half this game’s roster irrelevant. Which was the exact problem release Tracer/Genji had on this game…

You would be correct and many here either don’t play her, or lack in math or reading skills.

Baseline = 15% Leech.
Talented 15% increase of the the Baseline Leech = 17.25 Leech

Proof? Baseline early Leech 4 per shot. It should be now 8 per shot if it increased to 30% (from 15%) but it stays around 4-5 per shot, its also the reason I think the 25% health may be the superior choice.

Just to remind everyone the Life Leech before rework was 20% and her Damage was higher ! So yes her pure auto-attack build did get nerfed and only nerfed. Only The option of Ricochet increases her damage above to what it was before IF and only IF you attack more than 1 hero. This is not subjective, this is a fact.

Their ranges are among the lowest of all ranges afaik? Tracer now need to talent her range basically looking her once again into a skill tree, unless you play her like a melee.
