Thoughts on D.Va's PTR heroics?

I wish stop and pop could get CDR for every hero stunned or maybe duration refreshed when stunning a hero. Maybe it’d make her OP but the ult is just so fun to use and I just wanna use it all the time lmao.

Actually, it’s pretty alright but you need to hit enemies very reliably with it. If you hit all missiles you potentially have an “infinite” micro missile spam with 4-5 uses at once.
The problem is the duration of the ult. It lasts too long so you’d spend about 1.6 seconds per burst. With 5 bursts that’d be 6.5 seconds of you targeting a single spot. It almost never would happen. They either need to significantly buff the delay to the standard 0.125 seconds as all regular spells or more interestingly double the rate of missiles launched. In one scenario Micro Missiles feel more responsive thus you can more reliably hit people with it while the other makes micro missiles more like an AoE ability where you get a warning but after that a quick burst of damage. Either is fine but Micro Missiles is indeed a bit clunky now.

Problem is sidestepping makes the ulti miss a lot - there’s no margin for error and no changing the angle once cast.

Micro Missiles in it’s current form is pretty bad. Not useless but bad enough that Bunny Hop is almost always going to be better (especially since you can bunny hop into nuke+big shot the mech for mega damage).

You dodge many abilities by sidestepping it. The problem is that it takes too long overall. The long 0.375s delay followed up by 1.5 seconds to channel all 6 waves of missiles. It also has travel time.

I don’t think the ability is bad if you use it correctly . The problem is that they tripple dipped in making the ability hard to land. Missile speed is okay. Delay before the attack is okay alone but when combined with 1.5 seconds of channel it feels awful. Perhaps reducing the delay between shots to 0.15 seconds would resolve this issue because then you could reliably hit half of your missiles on a target who decided to stand in your line during the cast.

Although personally I’d want the casting time to be dropped to 0.125 seconds as right now its synergy with Defense Matrix is extremely clunky. The idea should be to keep pressuring enemies while Matrixing them but it doesn’t really work right now.

Personally, I’d rather they just make it a weird channel ability, where you pick a target and the missiles home in on that target for their total range and can be body blocked. This would also let things like Matrix to be used or allowing AAs to happen while Micro Missiles are being used.

That alone would fix all of Micro Missile’s problems.

Opponents take 50% more damage in close range by her Fusion Canon, so you want to play her more aggressive (Also to get in range of the DM). The Travel time of the Micro missiles is in close range irrelevant. Sidestepping is also more difficult given that the Missiles have a significant spreading.

I wouldn’t mind if they would change the level 20 upgrade to micro-missiles to make them pierce and hit (and explode on) every enemy they hit in their path, that could make it do significant damage to a clumped up team, kind of like that one Imperius talent.
