It’s ok I still love you.
Yeah, people will keep playing the game they are invested in, but there will be no new players coming in because the game is flawed on a fundamental level for people who enjoy this genre and the competitive aspect of it.
This is incorrect by the sure amount of players (which is pretty much everyone.) who plays this game and supported this game due it being less OCD.
I think some of the arrogance that DOTA/LoL/Smite players have about their self-inflated-ego put down this game because it wasn’t “complex enough.” enough. Due to the lack of items and the concept of last hitting.
Which I always backfire with. 90% if you read guides and do what guides tell you to do. And last hitting does take skill - but there comes a time where you master it and then it becomes tedious work and is no longer challenging.
The amount of belittlement some game communities can throw at people is quite funny. It sometimes happens in Path of Exile as well where veterans will belittle new people for not knowing the ropes.
And they all probably follow guides as well.
Now with nothing for them to lose with this game, if they don’t put Mei on the roster, there may be an insider conspiracy going on to drive this game 6 feet under and beyond. There is absolutely no reason to put her star power on the bench like this. Before you could make the argument that she would be too op, but the development conditions has changed to the point where this game should prioritize fan service as it should have from the start.
Pfft. Ashe is where it’s at.
I wouldn’t mind Ashe either.
Did we like… just become best friends all of sudden?
Pharah and Brigitte should come here too.
Ashe first though. 100%.
No Mei.
Both of you have terrible tastes, Widowmaker is where it’s at.
That’s it. We’re having a three way fight.
You both lost ekse de.
Widow, Ashe, and Mei? I think I’ve seen that.
…
Oh, fight. Nevermind.
YOU WANT IN ON THIS ACTION?
I’LL TURTLE SLAP THE CRAP OUT OF YOU.
I really hate this capslock thing.
Just replace capital i with small L, smh.
I’m too lazy.
Come on. I hire a house cleaner because I’m too lazy to clean my house.
I would hire a person to shower me if I could.
How can you say it is incorrect and make assumptions when I am one of those players and I am telling you that that isn’t what I think is wrong with this game. Getting rid of last hitting and the lack of complexity is just fine, it’s actually one reason I enjoy this game over LoL… but the shared XP is killing MMR and the competitiveness of this game. Nice try though.
Don’t try to get snarky with me buddy. That’s a game you’re not going to win.
I’ve been playing HotS for years, been in this community for years, joined Discord channels, made long-lasting friendships with dozens of people.
Guess what of the hundreds - if not thousands of us all have in common? WE DON’T LIKE THE TEDIOUS BORING WORK OF LAST HITTING.
Do I really need to copy and paste my response? I guess I’m gonna copy and paste my response.
This is why I’m not taking you seriously. Like at all.
Because I already told, and I’m going to tell you again, so pay close attention.
This game is failing not because the game is actually bad - the game is failing due to poor management and business practices. Which I listed some of them in your other post.
This game was destined to fail the moment 2.0 came out and it’s only gotten worse.
GUESS WHAT? ZERO CONNECTION TO SHARED EXPERIENCE.
In the immortal words of Kagome.
ARE YOU GETTING IT YET?!?!?!?!
People AREN’T leaving this game due to shared experience. Get over your damn ego and arrogance.
Edit: As well as your ignorance.
I literally just said… as a LoL player… that I don’t like last hitting either… and that is one of the games this game did right… Are you even thinking before you talk?
I’m not trying to play a game with you, i’m just telling you that your opinion is no better than mine and I’m trying to have a discussion. You are acting crazy.
Also, this game was destined to fail before 2.0…
Also… did you just quote kagome?.. oof
NVM. If this is the community here, I am glad it’s dying. Kill it with fire. Continue on.
