Stuttering issue

HOTS stutters a lot after the computer has been on for a while(I won’t have this problem when it’s recently restarted). It didn’t use to be like this until 1-2 months ago. I have browsed through a few of the other stuttering threads here and I’m not sure if it’s the same. The way this problem is is that the screen freezes for 1-3 seconds and then continues running smoothly. I have tried solving this by installing new drivers for my gfx card, turning off the geforce experience’s in-game thingie, reinstalled a lot of new drivers, flushed dns and more.

I didn’t have this problem before and I’m not sure what’s causing it now. I run the game in fullscreen windowed mode as I’ve always have. I also play WoW at times and I don’t have that problem there.

I have the same issue, no luck so far in finding a solution.

Simsam,

There are newer drivers out for both the Nvidia and Intel cards. I do see you have the 398.36 driver installed for your Nvidia. I have seen reports from players that the latest drivers are causing stuttering and that the driver you currently have installed seems to be more stable so you might want to stick with that.

However, your Intel driver is out of date and the newer driver has helped others with stuttering. Here is the link to the latest driver for that.

Intel 530 Driver

In regards to your pathping, you are having consistent packet loss throughout it. I am not sure if you have tried all the steps in this article since you mentioned you have tried lots of things, but if you haven’t please do try them, including the advanced steps.

It seems like the intel driver update dit it! Thanks a lot, Calystol.

As for the latency: I don’t have a problem in WoW and it seems to use the same ip for the pathping.

Thanks again!
