Sound issue (sounds reverb even with it turned off)

I updated my laptop yesterday and there were a lot of updates.

After updating the laptop, the game sound is reverb even though the reverb setting is turned off (not checked). In heroes of the storm option, I tried turning reverb on and off but the sound still sounds reverb. Reinstalling heroes didn’t fix the issue.
My laptop has no sound enhancements tab available and disabling microphone didn’t work either.

How do I fix this issue?

Maybe your speaker / headphone is set to 5.1 / 7.1 surround sound.
I disabled surround, since i don’t like it, and just go with stereo.

Make sure there is no reverb effect enabled in your Playback device. These are usually specified under Enhancements tab.
