I can’t speak to what he would want out of the character, but I made a possible incarnation of him to show how different he could be to Raynor.

[HC] Soldier: 76, Strike-Commander

Commander Jack Morrison, also known as Soldier: 76, is one of the most important and core members of the Overwatch cast, and has been hotly debated by the HotS community. Many people are not keen on seeing him in the game, and often say he should just be a Raynor skin, but I think he can be made into an interesting character, and we need a new auto attack carry type character in the game. I believe his self heal and helios rocket abilities would be just fine. His dash ability might be worked into his trait as an active. Since his ultimate wouldn’t transfer well (he’s already going to hit what he’s aiming at), maybe his heroic could be increased damage per shot. Kinda simulating him hitting the weak spots on characters. For his third basic ability, I would love to see a pushback ability of some sort.
