Skins: Baseball Coach Abathur

Background:
This idea came around from a game with an Abathur who was overflowing with the need to tell everyone what to do.
So, one of the other team mates made a joke that he was being our Coach.

And… that seemed so incredibly fitting for an Abathur!
They are on the sidline, never get into the action themselves, blow their whistle and shout orders to “guide” their team mates.

THEME:

  • Typical 90’s Junior sports team coach. From any kid sports movie from the era.

HERO:

  • Abathur with the big coach cap, a blow whistle.
  • Holding a Trophy of his long lost glory days.
  • Glasses, either regular or sunglasses.
  • Binoculars hanging from his neck.

SYMBIOTE:

  • Abathurs “hat” would sport a similar Coach hat and Whistle.

ABATHUR SYMBIOTE ANIMATION:

  • A coach booth spawns, with Abathur a little to the side of the booth.
  • Abathur pick’s up the Binoculars to “survey” the playfield.
  • The Locust emerge from the booth, ready to get out on the field and “play”.

SYMBIOTE ATTACKS:

  • Symbiote’s Stab: Throws a baseball at opponents.
  • Symbiote’s Carapace: Puts a wet towel at the ally getting healed. “Clean up and get back out there!”
  • Symbiote’s Spine Burst: Swing two baseball bats around host. “Preeeee! That is an illegal move!”

EVOLVE MONSTROSITY:

  • Coach Abathur dress up the Monstrosity with the Junior league jerseys to “disguise” it as a Junior Player, when obviously it is not.
  • Overly tight fitting junior shirt, with a baseball helmet badly placed ontop of Monstrositys head.
  • “Aren’t you a bit to big to be in Junior league?”

That about covers the general idea of this skin.
