I used to play HotS a lot then stopped. I wanted to install it and play it again, especially with the announcement of the new hero finally come into the game.
Well since I’ve last played, I bought a nice 39" curved monitor which is at 5120x1440 display resolution.
I generally don’t have issues playing on games with this monitor, but HotS does not support this at all.
I’ve tried editing the base resolution of the game through the text file as I’ve seen other suggest, but as soon as you open the game it transfers back to Blizzards native resolution for the game.
It looks like others have this issue as well with varying sizes of monitors, but there isn’t an answer that I’m finding from Blizzard regarding this.
