Remember, if you came to HotS thinkin

Mistaken has one s in it.

It’s easier to blame external factors instead of improving.

There are factors I can improve, that’s true.

But also there are factors I can’t control.

See im a perfect player. Never mad never rude :innocent:

I am not sure. She can kill milions to get what she wants.

Jimmy should have shot her in the face when he had the chance.

The fact people are arguing whether LoL or hots has more solo carry potential is a non starter.

And/or saying “who cares” and listing just focus on factors you can control like skill is also a non starter

Playing is a coin flip

If that happened Amon would have taken over everything
So what is a million compared to everything

Nah, it’s only like that if I choose to play Tracer, will my team carry me or not?

lol, Hoku, it always surprises me when you write something like that, you’re always so measured. Surprised in a good funny way. This thread as turned out to be rather fun.

@AnaBanana, I really should look at my glass house when lobbing stones at your Avatar. I’m pretty sure Kerrigan is an Angel compared to Brightwing.

Tbh, making Kerrigan “a savior of everything” after SC1/Broodwar… That was so…

I hate it.

And when he finally do it he forgot to reload and no bullet comes out. Stitches: I like him. Gorge Kerri and teleports away with her in a Medivh portal.

I’ve seen many people truly carry a team. It;s obvious when someone is just really good at as a hero. It may be unlucky they were on the other team but, there’s definitely a skill gap. If you consistently think that you need luck to gain ranks, you are not good enough to carry a team.

Sadly signed by a perennial silver player :frowning:

So the main luck thing is getting people on your team that are good right? How does all this work from those good players point of view and what even makes them good?

It reminds me of someone saying that if he has 4 potatoes in his team, he wins with 5 potatoes in the enemy team.

if you are below a 50% winrate odds are unless it is by like .1% you are at fault for your lack of skill in some area most likely.

above 50% (give or take like .1%) you are probably losing by some shortcoming on your team or it is a bad game for you

I know, that’s why i mentioned “remind”.

You can’t compare ME with a Grand Master player that has successfully smurfed to Masters from Bronze. While ruining the experience for new players.
They can do a Bronze to Master cuz they’re already Master+ themselves. I can smurf from Bronze to Platinum easily and im in Platinum. Which i’ve tried once, even got to Diamond.

“Any human vs human game is competitive”
This is just playing with words when it comes to this game. As i mentioned before this game is competitive if you use the literal definition of the word “competitive”. But it wont do justice to the meaning of it. Why? MM (Random player distributor) of course.

It’s wrong… to call it “competition” when a GM player smurfs and utterly destroys beginners and then to use the stats this GM smurf has gotten to call the game “competitive”.
Imagine if Real Madrid or whatever high end club played your own local towns football team and you call it a fair match. It is a competition… to the definition of the word but it’s not. Especially if you watch the end resaults that shows 20-0.
The benched secondary goal keeper would probably play better than the best striker from your own local town club as a Striker.

It’s just wrong to use comparisons like this as a defense for the “this game is competitive” argument.
Has any Rank#1 GM player ever been able to climb back to Rank#1 GM from Bronze on a smurf account?

I’m Platinum and i’m facing platinum players. So my success will be affected by the MM luck more than it would affect a Master+ player playing in Platinum facing Platinum players.
I don’t think i’m reaching here… I think this is a fair point.
