I changed my PC a couple days ago and the game was running normally, after a while the screen went black and then two red icons showed up on screen, one was a graphic card and the other one was something about caché I think, I read the article about this and already lowered the graphics but it still happens, it’s not all the time but it is very annoying, HOTS is the only game where I have problems is there a way to fix this?
I already tested my RAM to see if that was the problem but everything seems ok.
is this what you are talking about? i havent seen these icons in forever, but it would help to clarify if this is what you are seeing.
Yup that’s the article, I updated the drivers and lowered the graphics but didn’t help
well, first thing to do is post your DXDIAG so that anyone helping you knows what you have.

It says that I have everything updated, no problem with drivers
have a look at your virtual memory settings.
Control Panel > System and Security > System
-
Advanced System Settings
-
Advanced > Performance (Settings)
- Advanced > Virtual Memory (Change)
now you should be in the virtual memory settings. you can see your disk drives labeled and how much virtual memory (Paging File) is being set for the system.
what you need to do is set your Virtual Memory to custom size: 8000 - 25000
this will set your minimimum paging file to 8GB and allow the system to allocate up to 25GB if it needs to. the maximum number can be changed if you are short on drive space, but it should be no lower than twice as big as your minimum. your minimum amount is best set to how much RAM you have or higher.
It didn’t work…
go to …/Documents/Heroes of the Storm/Variables.txt
copy the file to your desktop so you can find it later if you need it. then delete the file in the Heroes of the Storm folder. when you start up the game it will make a new Variables settings file.
So far so good :,) Thank you very much!
make sure to mark your thread solved if things are fixed.
