We have determined that this isn’t an internal issue with our service, but has affected many players and their connections to our games. We are working with the parties involved and are seeing positive results from changes made to help mitigate the impact to our players.

Can we get some forgiveness or reset today for leaver queue considering this was a widespread issue?
This bug affected me, and when I was able to log in I was put in the “recently disconnected” group. Seems kind of unfair since it was outside of my control.
This. Would be nice if players would get compensated somehow, e.g. removing any leaver status and restoring lost rank.
so glad its not just me, I also gat it, and I got it last night in a SL match 
ALT F4 came back and the bot died 3 times
Happened here too in SL. Got kicked and lost the match points for leaving and then, after restarting the game several times, got the reconnect right at the end and lost a second batch of points.
I have a fairly similar issue going on. I’ve only immediately DC’d at the start of a game once, but it’s happened several times in the middle, and particularly towards the end, of games. I’ll disconnect from the game, and then I’ll get stuck in a constant “reconnecting” screen, which won’t go away unless I alt-f4 and reload the game. I’m onto at least the third tier of leavers penalty now due to this bug.
Throughout the entire time though, I’ll be connected just fine to Battlenet’s (not HotS) voice chat, without any noticeable interruptions.
This is also happening to me. Multiple times now I have been in draft and received an ‘attempting to connect to server’ msg only to return to leaver status. I know this is not my internet because other connections do not falter. can you please resolve this so that leaver status is NOT applied when the connection issue is not due to afk or non participation? this is frustrating and time consuming to be matched with other leavers who aren’t trying to win.
