Hello.

I found this issue in your forums started (and closed) in late Summer 2019.

Yet this issue is still alive and apparently well.

I have done everything mentioned in the thread back then:

  1. Uninstall the battle.net app.
  2. Manually end all processes related to bnet and blizzard.
  3. Delete tools, %APPDATA%, %LOCALAPPDATA% and %TEMP%.
  4. Freshly installed the Launcher.

No change. At all.

Seeing the old thread was closed, I am opening this one hoping there has been progress on this issue or at least new troubleshooting ideas.

Hey Chronos,

You may be able to work around this issue by connecting through a VPN before starting the game. If you’re not familiar with using a VPN I’d recommend searching online, as there are several that offer free trials.

You should only need to go through this process once. So after you are able to get into the game you can exit the game again, disable the VPN, and then try launching again normally.
