After every patch I have this extra data preparation thingy. Why?
I download the patch via the launcher, a few hundred mb, then when I want to start the game and click “play”, it brings up this window and downloads another 128 (in this case).
Anyone else having that?
If that happens multiple times then the battle.net app and possibly the game itself needs to be scanned and repaired.
How do you scan and repair?
Hey FuZZed, it was a while since I posted that so I actually forgot. Took a while to find it.
It’s the option tab in the middle of the screen, rather than on the top in general settings. Click that after you have the HotS tab open on the left.
(But it probably wont remove the 130MB extra download that happens every patch, it seems to happen to everyone, I’d only repair if you keep getting that download every time you open the client)
