Please Remove Blackhearts bay from map rotation

Like u disabled Mines, coz it was only PVE, Blackhearts Bay also should be removed from map rotation.

  • Only PVE oriented
  • relently stupid and annoying objectives / announcer
  • many people hate this

If u are not willing to delete this map, at least give us map blacklist so we can point on maps we dont wanna play.

It’s an interesting map, I just wanna see some tweaks to how objectives work.
I feel that collecting and returning coins are too powerful at the moment. And as a result, competition for completing objectives are way too fierce. I don’t get to see as many Azmodan/Zagara/Xul pushing lanes hard in BHB.

Perhaps they could reduce the damage done by cannons by a good bit, so that first completed coin return won’t automatically destroy at least one fort, but slightly increase speed of returning coin, so that objectives are getting completed frequently, but it won’t have to be as crucial as it is now.

Not really. Mines was removed cause the map is full of bugs and object was weak compared to sapper camps. Even the reworked mines was bad.

I don’t mind if it stays in QM but at least remove it from unranked. There’s no point drafting for a map that never shows up in SL.

Funny you say the obj is to strong, i think the cannon on hanamura is to weak. You dont see alot of “specialist” split pushers becuase the dinner bell calls you to 2 seperate points on the map that are quickly taken out, unlike say sky temple where your stuck on a point for a minute (even without contestation). I think it would be cool to have 2 bosses spawn that drop the coins instead of the chests, so that you have something to root you in place for a while, giving teams more concrete and time consuming contestation points (not that i think that is balanced).

Dunnno, i wouldn’t remove it, but i sure wish they would have tweaked it to be a competitive map instead of iterating hanamura 3 times and still coming up short.

Hanamura also have two ninjas on the map that left unchecked can take down both towers and half of forts hp before it dies. Also a reason why they were nerfed last time a patch note hit them.

This is such a tedious topic that is being spammed at this point, why not at least post ideas on how to improve BHB, rather than remove it?

I wish he would at least open a discussion on how to improve it. Maybe it’s pointless as I don’t even know if the Devs have been given the funding anymore to rework a map.

That is what i miss a lot from people on this forum. If you gonna complain about something then maybe come with ideas on how the map could be better cause i personally also think its a bad map but I have already came with ideas about how to improve it in other threads like

  1. Reduse number of coins the map gives and have both teams fight over one big chest with 15-20 coins in it.
  2. Reduce dmg from cannon shots and allow enemy team to counter the pirate by paying half thier coins to have anti pirate minions spawn and bomb the ship.

Ofc i have no clue how that would work out but they are my ideas. But most OPs never come with ideas on how to improve maps. They just want them removed cause they are unfun to him alone.

There will always be people who love/hate this map but that does not mean they should remove it. Its a relic of this game and should be keept as such. You dont just remove the foundation of a game.

I think that is part of the reason people hate it, when people have very different notions of how a map “must” be played, then people blame the map, not themselves. The other map people often ask to be removed is Towers of Doom, many saying it’s “not balanced” or more off base that it “lacks comeback mechanics.” :roll_eyes:

Because thier arguments are based on feelings and not logic. Saying Towers of Doom is a unbalanced unfun map need to know how to take advantage of towers and sapper camps.

Those are the people who usually say TOD is a “bad” map. I’ve been matched with people on level 2000 accounts who still didn’t know that you can get core shots from walking sappers across.
