Now let’s say you have a game and your team does all about the same you know. Someone is 2-3, someone is 3-2, the dps all have about the same same dmg done, tank is soaking dmg, healer is healing… OK nothing changes. Everyone wins or losses 200 points at the end.
But if you have a game lets say where one guy (likely a diablo player) is diving in and he’s 0-9 and the rest of the team is now gimped because of this player constantly pushing too far and dying then he needs to lose MORE RANKING than the rest of his team. Everyone else lose 150 points on a loss, he loses 400 points for his loss since it would seem he’s the reason they are losing.
Simultaneously if a whole team is 0-6 0-8, no hero dmg done and ONE PERSON on the team has top siege dmg, top hero dmg, 9 kills, 0 deaths, then that person should lose little to no ranking on the loss. I would even say they lose 0 and the other 4 lose 250 each! Or if they win for some reason, then that person should win 400-500 and the others split the remaining.
I didn’t pick my team blizzard. You picked them for me. If they don’t perform as well as I do and we win, I should rank up quicker. Simultaneously if we lose and everyone else is underperforming, I should rank down slower than them. That would fix a LOT of problems with the ranked play.
