Optimization graphics for Legacy drivers please

i used to be able to play Heroes of the Storm , but now in team fights, my FPS drops significantly near 1 fps/2 seconds, which makes the game unpleasant… i would like if possible to have it also optimized to my drivers since their Legacy’s drivers

APU - AMD Radeon HD 6520G (512MB)
CPU - AMD A6-3420M APU with Radeon™ HD Graphics, 1500 Mhz, 4 Core(s), 4 Logical Processor(s) (turbo to 2.4GHz)
GPU - AMD Radeon HD 7600M Series (1GB)

make sure you are running the game using your HD 7600M and not your HD 6520G. there is a significant performance difference there.

it is a pretty frequent occurrence that driver updates will sometimes do funny things with changing your default graphics when you are running a mobile setup like that. you may need to go into your graphics settings to change something or do a graphics driver update for the 7600M to get it set back to your default graphics.

it was already on high performance, which i was told makes it work on my 1GB card, but i forgot to mention that they work crossfire but they both AMD and the laptop was made to use crossfire.

ASUS K53TK if you ever need the brand… if any useful.

Hope all of this can help

it should from what i have read too, but my concern as i have said is that it may be confused between the APU and the GPU graphics.

i think this is the correct driver download for you: https://www2.ati.com/drivers/beta/non-whql-win10-64bit-radeon-software-crimson-relive-16.2.1-sep20.exe

Radeon HD7600M series for Windows 10 64bit.
it is the newer 16.x.x drivers vs the older 15.x.x ones. both are available.

ill give it a try but, this is legacy drivers i have since AMD no longer really support them, but still has the last update from years ago

Edit1:
welp the website sent me to an error page and coudlnt find 7600M in the 7000 series nor in the legacy ones… so im gonna use Drive Booster, lastest of today, thats how i was able to reuse my DVD-drive since windows 10 was kinda seeing it as a drive but didnt know what to do with it

Edit2:

thanks for helping, there seem nothing i can do about it so ill just have to live with it, again thanks for helping tho

https://www.asus.com/Laptops/K53TK/specifications/

says that it came with a Radeon HD 7670M. while this does show up as a general “7600M series” the specific gpu is the 7670M. still though usually they supported a very wide range of their GPUs in their drivers.

oh, so even if the laptop shows i have 7600M since an update of the drivers, i still need to download the 7670M ?

yes,

like you said before its just the series number. when the manufacturer of the gpu does that there is usually several models that fall under the same ‘series’ with different levels of performance. your laptop was made with a 7670M is what the ASUS site says. which is what you pointed to as being your laptop.

i would try the 16.x.x drivers to see if it helps you out since they are newer. you can always go back to the 15.x.x drivers on the site there if something isnt working right for you.

sure, ill try that when i have time, and besides i create a restore point before i do stuff that may force me to reformat my laptop, thank for the help
